Summary: The location is great and cottage is fun. Host was very responsive to any questions that came up. Definitely recommend this property. Cleanliness of the cottage itself was great. The grounds could use cleaning up - perhaps past guests were messy, or neighbours. Also some larger trash items detracted from views in some cases - again might not be in the property but I mention because that was the only reason I held back one star on the cleanliness question. I would be happy to return / suggest to others.

Summary: It was very nice. Me and my friends didn't have any issues. We went during the winter so there wasnt much to do outside, but I bet it would be really great in the summer.

Summary: We stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. It was exactly like the pictures, very clean and quiet. We had everything we needed. We are definitely coming back again

Summary: Although I am thoroughly enjoying time with my family at the lake, your property is not as advertised and is causing a damper on our vacation. Upon arrival, the soap dispenser in the main bathroom was empty, and when looking for soap to use (only dish soap available), we found a bowl under the sink being used to catch the water that is leaking from the sink pipe. We were not notified of this issue and it has become a chore to empty this bowl daily. This could have easily lead to a flooded bathroom had we not noticed. Linens are listed under amenities, however there were no sheets on the beds. When we used the washer and drier in basement, we found bed sheets still dirty: half of them still wet in the washing machine; and the other half in a pile on the floor. The cleanliness is not up to the standards. There are bugs lining every windowsill, cobwebs all throughout the house and mice in the kitchen. We woke up to find our food chewed into and mouse feces all over the kitchen. Quite disgusting and certainly disappointing considering the amount of money we spent on food for 9 people. The dock has broken boards and sags dangerously. It is snapping while we walk on it, threatening to break, while nails are also bulging out. The deck is also in hazardous shape, with large splinters and broken boards. Like I said, we are enjoying our time but our accommodations are unacceptable and not meeting ‘VRBO’ standards. The cost we paid you per night would be acceptable for spotless and hazard free stay. Because of the issues that have surfaced while we have been using your cottage, a partial refund is necessary.

Summary: This property is located in a very quiet area. We had access to the water, fire pits, hot tub. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped for our group of 8. Some of the shortcomings outlined by a previous reviewer had been addressed however not all. The exterior of the building could use some repairs and general tidying. I shared photos with the host which hopefully are found to be helpful. We created many wonderful memories and that is the most important thing!!
