Positive: It is a very charming set of cottages, just a short walk to the beach. I loved the cozy vibes, especially the hot tub and the fireplace.
Negative: I would have given this place a 10/10 if not for the uncomfortable interaction I had with the Rhiannon, the guest contact for my stay. She called me after I checked out, inquiring about a jet cover that had come off in the hot tub. I checked with my friends and confirmed that we all hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary the two times we used the hot tub. When I told her this, she said "Oh c'mon, be honest, I don't want to have to file a claim." Taken aback, I reiterated that I genuinely had no idea what she was talking about - there was nothing wrong with the jets the last time we used the hot tub. (it's also a pretty old hot tub, and regular maintenance must be expected?) She said she would have to see what the owner wanted to do, and I never heard back - this was almost 6 days ago. Her accusations that I damaged something and wouldn't admit it really put a damper on how I felt about the location, and out of caution I might not book there again.
Summary: Such a cute, cozy venue - but the guest contact turned me off from potentially staying there again.
