Summary: I am reluctant to be negative about anyone taking the time to rent their home. I have rented my own home so I know that reviews do matter I've decided that honesty is best. I first contacted the owners by phone to tell them they issues we had that did not go too well before writing this review. The issues I will mention now occurred at various times during our stay and amounted to so many things that it felt useless to call the owner The most positive was that the beds and linens were wonderful so we slept well. The steam shower was also a pluis I rented this home as a luxury retreat and specifically because it had a pool and a lake. Swimming is the top of my lists That was my first shock. The pool is tiny (looks larger in the photos) and is only chest high. There is no way to swim or do anything but stand. I'll just list the things that were problems: 1) The pool was more of a kiddie size 2) The outdoor furniture was breaking and , as well, the heavy cushions were not stored conveniently on the deck but required going up and down steps into the garage and lugging them in and out 3) The gas fireplace inside could not be turned on and the switch just broke off when we tried to turn it on. 4) the outdoor stairs and stones we're all uneven , broken and felt unsafe as they were also covered with mold and in need of cleaning 5) The weather turned cold and the upstairs air conditioner could NOT be turned off.....couln't access the pug to unplug it So it was freezing cold 6) the upstairs bathtub has a drain problem and could not be used 7) It was impossible to find the Lake. There is NO marked path going there. the directions in their house book did not help What started with an a/c unit that couldn't be turned off, cascaded into so many little issuse we honestly felt hopeless even reaching out during our 2 night and 1 day stay. . While the home is lovely and the setting is peaceful these broken and unusable things made having spent a luxury fee feel not worth the splurge I believe that the hosts can remedy these problems. I was disappointed when I did call that they didn't seem to understand why I would feel such disappointment in the discrepancy between what a luxury stay would be and what we were faced with As I've said, it is a lovely home so I do hope these problems will be resolved for the next visitors

Summary: The house is gorgeous, clean, and always smelled fantastic. It had all the amenities my 16 year old wanted to celebrate her birthday with her besties as a girls weekend retreat. Recommended.

Summary: The pictures don’t fool! The house is beautiful and cozy. The decor is simple but chic. Beds are super comfortable and linens smelled so clean. Furniture is so nice and clean, not old leftover stuff. The home was spotless. The deck was wonderful and we used the wood burning fire pit for s’mores. Garage was perfect to keep the car warm inside. Nice short walk to the lake that was frozen over! Stocked with all you need in a kitchen, even a full bar set. Don’t even need to leave this place once you have groceries. And the gas fireplace is amazing. I cannot wait to visit this place in the summer and enjoy the pool!

Summary: My family and I were looking to celebrate the holiday differently this year due to the pandemic. We had a wonderful time at Johanna and Marco's beautiful home just spending time together and reconnecting. The property was just as described and the house was very nicely decorated, equipped and very clean. The check-'in process was very smooth and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would love to possibly come back and experience the property during the warmer months. Great property and amazing hosts! My son suggested the only thing necessary to write was simply...steam shower!!! :))

Summary: Very clean, cozy, elegant and practice place. Giovanna and Marco did an outstanding job with the place. Everything was spotless - the kitchen was superlative. Working in the food industry, I have to say that you can find more utensils here. Cozy place with fireplace, plenty of room for guests and spotless restroom and bathroom. A pre-heated garage that is very accessible and simplify a lot the loading/unloading process of groceries and personal stuff. Unfortunately we had a very bad winter storm the day before with more than 20inches around and we did not have the possibility of enjoy the terrace, patio and gazebo. However, Giovanna and Marco took care of the snow removal cleaning right before our arrival. The pictures and the description does not give enough justice to the place. Very recommended - We would like to consider the accommodation for spring and summer as well. Best Francesco
