Summary: We would have really enjoyed our stay but the house wasn't cleaned well. Lots of cobwebs and found dirty socks in the house. Some of the pot and pans weren't cleaned well either. One of the bed frames was broken and was held up by drawers. For the amount of money we spent for the house, it should have been much cleaner.

Summary: It’s perfect for big groups and being away from the hustle and bustle of the seasonal visitors. The location and space was great but the cleanliness could use some work. Physical check out instructions would have been helpful, as we didn’t get instructions until we were checking out .

Summary: We stayed here for a highschool cross country meet at the Mook and it served our needs perfectly. There was separate space for the teens to hang out downstairs and the adults and younger kids to be upstairs. One of the best stocked kitchens we've been in with a vacation rental. You could cook a holiday meal here and have all the pots and pans and special kitchen tools needed. Not much pantry space though with all those drawers so well stocked. The layout might be a bit funky if you are traveling with several adults that need privacy, the bedrooms downstairs feel very open to each other and the bathroom closes with a sliding door on one side and a barn style door on the other - no locks. But for a group of teens that wasn't a big deal. Lots of great natural light upstairs and a wonderful outdoor space that we wish we could have utilized more. You could easily kick a ball around in the backyard if you wanted to. Our kids had fun with the provided croquette set. It felt like we might have been the first ones to stay there in a while. Bit of a mildewy/stale smell downstairs and cobwebs all over on the patio. But neither of those things stopped us from enjoying the space. We would book again for the same cross country meet - but might look elsewhere if traveling only with adults.

Summary: Plenty of space to spread out in this off-the-bay house. What it lacks in ocean views it makes up for in a sense of seclusion and plenty of amenities, including a sauna, tub, well-stocked kitchen, large grassy area to play in, two living areas, and thoughtfully labeled just about everything! The downstairs area had a slightly musty smell but it wasn't overpowering or enough to keep us out of it. The location is convenient to all kinds of adventures with relatively short drives, as well. Overall a fun place for a family getaway!

Summary: The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with spices and such. It would be nice if there was more seating upstairs and the layout of the bedroom downstairs with the sauna is a little awkward. We had a great time and would visit again.

Summary: The house layout was accurate to the add, the location was good, there were a lot of very cool qualities but the cleanliness was not worth what i paid per night. There were hairs in 2 beds, one bed had oily looking stains on it and a bandaid wrapper in the window next to it. Another bedroom had a dried up contact lense stuck to the wall above the pillows. There was a handful of dirty clothes and cobwebs behind the washer and dryer, food left on a pan in the oven, and several of the dishes were dity in the drawers and cupboards. Oh, and the upstairs mini split runs for a little while then trips the breaker after an hour or so. Pretty embarrassing to pay for a big family get away just to find the house dirty. Oh, and a close neighbor leaves their dog out all night, and the barking woke several of us up, several times The house itself had a lot of really nice qualities, and the view from the upstairs was wonderful. My family enjoyed the hot tub each evening, and theres plenty of room for people to spread out and relax. I found it hard to relax after all the cleanliness issue's i discovered, Still waiting for a final response and some compensation for the weekend.
