From the outside, this home is unassuming, but when you walk through the door you will be captivated by the stunning woodwork that supports and defines this warm and delightful home. The open floor plan lends itself to family gatherings and evenings spent around the fire along with chatting and cooking in the adjacent country kitchen. On warm evenings, the french doors open onto the balcony overlooking the green lush fields leading down to the creek, and to the woods lining the edge of the property. If you are feeling energetic after dinner take a walk along the miles of mown trails; if you are in the mood for an adventure cross the creek and continue your stroll through the wooded farm border and along the stream (bring your waterproof boots :!). Back at the homestead there is plenty of room to spread out, with 2 master suites, one on both first and second floors, and 2 additional bedrooms on the bottom floor. The first floor suite features a light-filled bedroom overlooking the bucolic rolling fields and trees, with a master bath containing a large, 2 head walk-in shower as well as an adjacent laundry, and designer closet. The upstairs suite features a soaring wooden atrium for the bedroom ceiling, and a large bath complete with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The 2nd floor is completed by an open loft with large desk, and can be used as a work area, or as a place to hideaway and just read or relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine. The lowest level rooms feature a forest theme which is like a fairy tale come to life, and a Star Wars room in which the force is quite strong! For kids the trampoline, tree house, and long driveway for riding bikes and scooters have great appeal, as do the additional toys (pogo stick anyone?? ) and acres of land on which to run and play! For the inclined adults, there is a canoe or kayak for paddling along the scenic pond. In the spring and summer flowers abound in the lush landscaping, and the outdoor seating areas are perfect for relaxing and reflecting. In the fall and winter the jet-filled hot tub provides a marvelous place to relax, refresh, and appreciate all the beauty around you. Outings might include Claiborne Farms, The Kentucky Horse Park, the incomparable Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, local shopping at the adorable Paris shops, The Ark Encounter, or hiking at Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge! Summary: The property was beautiful, and the hosts were extremely hospitable and kind. We had 5 kids ranging from 10-14 on the property and they enjoyed running around, playing baseball, and exploring. Perfect place for family and friends.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay in this home in the country. We were close to many activities, but we still felt like we were on our own. The house itself was large enough for all of us. There were many activities available inside the home and outside on the property for all ages. The kitchen was well stocked. The owners were very available and the check in, check out process was easy. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Summary: An outstanding experience! This was a first family meeting since “the before times,” and the property and the house were superb. Every question I had for the owners was answered promptly and accurately, and they were willing to be flexible with check-in and check-out which was really great when one is gathering family from several different states! We will stay there again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time both inside and outside on this gorgeous property. So much to do outside from pond to trampoline to battery car to treehouse, or just strolling the miles of beautifully mowed paths across and along the 72 acres. My Golden Retriever was in Heaven being allowed to go outside on his own to run and sniff. At home he has to be taken everywhere on leash or by car. We sat outside wherever we found shade and enjoyed meals at the big farmhouse table in the kitchen. Archie (3 yrs) loved the bunk beds in the Star Wars room and had his own private TV room downstairs for his favorite cartoons. Baby Poppy (8 mos) had her own bedroom too in a huge walk-in closet off a downstairs bedroom where we put her pack ‘n play. My sister had the upstairs suite and I had the main level suite. My niece had the whole lower level for herself and kids. We had a wonderful time. Our other niece lives just 11 miles up the road, so we hope to return for another visit. Maybe we can visit in all four seasons! Thank you Jeannette and Paul for letting us make ourselves at home in your beautiful house.

Summary: We wanted to celebrate together with our families for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. This home/farm was the perfect place for our family (18 total members ranging in age from 2.5yrs to 77y) to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Summary: We had family from Florida, Illinois and Indiana enjoy a long weekend for our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. The property was perfect to fit all of us comfortably and to enjoy outdoor yard games, games indoors, relax on the deck, enjoy a fire at night and just get visit and reminisce. The owner’s were very responsive to questions.

Summary: We rented this house for a family get together. It was amazingly beautiful and cozy. The owner was so helpful and friendly. They really went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasurable.Our children ranging in age of 3-15 had so much fun. Even when it was raining they had so many things to keep them busy and happy. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
