3 Bedroom House in Ocean Springs

Our Island House is at the end of a private beach peninsula offering various views of the Gulf of Mexico, river side, lighted fishing dock & surrounding area. Here you won’t deal with traffic or a crowded beach. To the west, after watching the breathtaking coral sunsets over the water you can see the glistening lights of the gulf coast casinos. The front balcony faces the beach with additional views of the Gulf. From our large back balcony you can enjoy the view of our fishing dock, fire pit seating area and surrounding marsh. The kitchen has a double oven, 6 burner gas stove with griddle. We also have a whole house water purification system. The back balcony runs the entire length of the house. On one side of the back balcony has a screened in porch with a large outdoor dining table. The hot tub is at the other end of the balcony just outside of the master bedroom. We have a large master suite with a huge adjoining bathroom including a Jacuzzi tub, oversize glass shower, double sinks and private toilet. The Crews Quarters has 2 sets of “hanging” bunk beds, a futon with a plush comfortable mattress & smart tv. The 3rd bedroom facing the beach has a queen size bed. We provide free (fiber optic) wi-fi. At ground level is our tiki bar “The Man Overboard” and gaming area. Gaming includes a pool table, ping pong, corn hole, darts, croquet, horseshoes and more. There is an outdoor shower and foot hose for rinsing off pets and people when needed. The historic town of ocean springs is nearby with many quaint shops, restaurants and art galleries. It was one of the ten finalists in Coastal Living Magazine's 'American's Happiest Seaside Towns 2015'. In 2021 it was named one of the friendliest cities in the Nation! If you decide to hang around the beach during your stay, there’s an endless list of things to do. You can fish from the beach or sit on our dock and throw out a line. We also provide several crab traps and a large pot for boiling your catch! Crabbing from our dock is a 24/7 experience. We provide 2 kayaks & paddles you can lunch from our beach or dock. For some exercise & adventure you can arrange for Amanda at 'Paddles Up' to deliver paddle boards right to the house. Or you can contact Captain Mike (our local favorite) for a boating tour to nearby Horn Island for some exploring, or a fishing excursion. He offers various options. Our Island House sits just across the narrow road from our private beach and private path (not directly on the beach) and backs up to the river/marsh side, so you’re not limited to just beach activities. Summary: Nice house with good beach view and a lot of amenities. The owners left a thoughtful gift bucket for us and our furry creature.Take some bug off and be prepared to climb 23 stairs with your stuff, but after that it should be pure enjoyment!

Summary: Our adult children met for a week and had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the quiet rural setting but also liked we could drive to beaches in Biloxi or Alabama. The kids loved crabbing from the dock and kayaking with the gators. The game area was also a big hit.

Summary: Well maintained and all the conveniences. It is at the end of a very quiet dead end road with access to the marsh and the ocean. There were many things to do right at the home or travel a short distance for art, dining, shopping. A great rental!

Summary: We spent Christmas here! The house is very spacious. The neighborhood is really quite, not much traffic. The host is really nice and super easy to talk to. My daughter and my dog sure did enjoy the welcoming gifts!! The little extra things they had in the house was really useful. Nothing to complain about. The kitchen was awesome and I love the stove!! We really didn’t leave the property.. the beach is clean. Can’t wait to rent this one in the summer :)

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities of the island house! Our host was amazing to work with and the house was perfect. Two families of 4 stayed and had plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the downstairs gaming area and the beach access! Would go again100%!

Summary: We loved the beach house! Christina was very helpful throughout our stay. The house is BEAUTIFUL. we all enjoyed the location and the tiki bar/entertainment area was amazing. We had ages 12-88 and it was so perfect for all of us. Great place, highly recommend!

Summary: My significant other and I had an excellent stay at the Island House! Our last-minute getaway was facilitated by Christina, and we could not have asked for a nicer host. Our two dogs, an Australian Shepherd and Great Dane, came with us for their first beach experience. Our boys loved the house, the ground-level entertainment area, and the private beach. If you're looking for a cute, private, quiet, fun little property that is close enough to the bustle of New Orleans to make a day trip but still have beach access, then the Island House is for you!

Summary: We came to the area for our 1st time to cruising the coast.we wanted to stay on the beach. The island house is Awesome!! It is so cozy and all the amenities one could ask for. We could easily spend several days and not leave the rental.we loved every min of this vacation and would definitely be back again !Thabk you somuch for sharing your beautiful property!! Ps...you will not see a more beautiful sunset on the beach anywhere.

Summary: This is the second time I've stayed at this house. We love the house in general, but even better that it's on a quiet beach in a quiet neighborhood. It's a great place for the kids AND the dogs! (You may want to bring a tether if you bring doggies because it's not fully fenced- just fyi, but wasn't an issue for us.) We had a rainy day during our stay and used it as an opportunity to visit the Gulfport Aquarium. It's nice to have those options nearby. We will be coming back.
