Summary: The heating was not working, we had to rewire the thermostat as it would not start. Very unpleasant given that it was February with an average of 20 F. The winter duvets were either dirty in the laundry or abandoned on the floor in broken/dirty walk in closets. No duvet covers were available. Dirty plates and cutlery in the kitchen. There was trash left in the sunroom from previous guests. While two bedrooms were very nice and the position was great, overall, the house looked very worn out. The agency provided new duvets the following days but some of us had to sleep fully dressed the first night. No internet. The agency apologized and gave us a discount given all the problems, but has yet to answer regarding our request for a further discount for the internet. Most of us had to leave one day early because they could not work from there.

Summary: This house is big and beautiful and perfect for a large group. We cooked dinner and had everything we needed. The dock was up, so we were able to do some fishing. Due to a burn ban, we were unable to have a fire, but that area is beautiful. The game room was a bit lacking; the pool table and shuffleboard are nice, but the air hockey shown in the pics was not there. There are plenty of eating spaces even for large groups. The bathrooms need updated, but the house overall is lovely and very clean. We would definitely stay here again when in Deep Creek.

Summary: We stayed here for a long weekend in the off season. The house was beautiful! We used the fire pit in the front of the house and there were plenty of seats. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The view from the back of the house on the lake was gorgeous. We had 8 people and used all of the rooms, we never felt crowded. The dinning room table was large enough for all of us to fit around. The kitchen was well stocked with all equipment needed. The only thing that I felt should have been mentioned is one of the bedrooms is above the garage but it had its own bathroom and a little deck attached to it. Other then that it was a great stay. The owners were also very responsive to our messages. I highly recommend this house to stay at

Summary: So cozy, beautiful location, really nice house. Slightly aged, but still amazing. We had trouble finding the 5th bedroom because it was above the garage, and access wasn’t marked, but it’s there! We loved the outdoor firepit, hot tub and dock on the lake.

Summary: This house has a great location and the common space is great for large groups. The dock is the best feature of this house. It’s close to the house, easy walk back and forth and there is a trail that runs behind the house. Quiet part of the lake. It needs a lot of TLC. We have stayed here 2 different years and not much has been addressed.

Summary: The good: A lot of space on this property and the path to the lake was great and not steep. The house had plenty of space for the 12 people that we had there to spread out. Location was nice with grocery store and some restaurants within 10 minutes. Public boat launch within 20 minutes. Kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer were great, game room was nice and access to a small building that had a refrigerator by the lake was nice. The dock was a great size and plenty of room for parking boats/skis. Hot tub was clean and serviced the day of our arrival. The Bad: There were quite a few details of the property that were lacking. The kitchen cabinets didn't all latch and frequently came open. The drawer faces were loose on several kitchen drawers and would nearly pull off when opening the drawer. The dish washer bottom shelf was almost impossible to pull in and out if you had silverware in the basket. The facing on the downstairs master bathroom cabinet was nearly detached. There were no blinds or curtains to cover the large sliding glass doors or windows in the downstairs master bedroom which was fully visible from the back deck. The room over the garage did not appear to have been swept in some time as there was a decent amount of dirt and dust accumulated on the floor and going up the steps. Wifi did not reach the room above the garage or the game room.
