Positive: Excellent location and pet friendly. Beds were comfortable and the shower in the main bedroom was good. There were plenty of pans and utensils for the days we cooked at home. The kitchen was spacious and the property was clean and welcoming. We didn’t use the log burner but it all seemed good and there was a supply of wood.
Negative: Only one bin bag for a week and a change to say there would be no towels after we had booked. We stayed in another property on the same street last year and they also provided little things like cling film and foil etc. which are useful for packing up food for taking on walks. The fridge was a little on the small side so we had to shop daily rather than being able to stock up. The 4.30 pm check in and 9.30 am check out means you essentially lose a day of your stay but seems to be the way self catering is going generally. The stair gate/net couldn’t stop our German Shepherd but we had brought her crate so this proved an effective barrier to stop her getting up the stairs.
Summary: Pretty cottage with a a great kitchen and comfortable lounge for relaxing after a long walk!

Positive: Lovely well equipped cottage central to everything- walks- pubs - etc. beautiful terraced areas at rear of house which took the sun until mid afternoon. Comfortable beds. Comfortable sofas- table and chairs for four people.
Negative: Nothing to dislike A dishwasher and washing machine maybe appreciated by walkers etc but wasn’t an issue for us. Parking not really a problem even in July but is first come first served. Overall the best property we have used in this village over several years

Positive: Location- kitchen modern- lounge - wood for fire - lock box easy
Negative: Found what looked like blood on single bed mattress protector when leaving. Hot water ran out. Failed to respond by email when queries were made prior to visit

Positive: The property was perfect - traditional cottage with all the facilities that we would need. Information pack was so handy which told us all about the property and surrounding area. They had a little visitors book which was also informative- I forgot to write in it to say how much we enjoyed the stay. Had a lovely little garden which caught the morning sun - great for breakfast.
Negative: Nothing not to like - was clean and comfortable.
Summary: Great little place in a beautiful location.
