This lodge now has high-speed Starlink internet and one jon boat and one paddle boat per reservation is free to use. Find your piece of paradise at the Carver Lake Lodge in Perryville, MO. Swim in our private 17 acre lake, use our new floating swim platform, hike the trails, and fish in the lake stocked with large mouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill. Our property consists of 100 acres with use of our own private 17 acre lake. The Cash Lodge can sleep up to 4 people comfortably. Master w/ queen bed, second bedroom with bunk beds, and a sofa sleeper in the family room. Has lake views on the huge deck and a full kitchen with stainless appliances. Check out the Taylor Lodge if you want wireless internet and satellite TV. Close to Castor River, state parks, Taum Sauk, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Millstream Gardens, Pickle Springs, Elephant Rocks, and many wineries. Enjoy fishing or sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. You can also check out the natural 30 foot waterfall (weather permitting) or hike along the private hiking trails leading throughout the property. There are 2 lodges here at opposite ends of the lake so there may be another family there during your stay. They are 1,200 feet apart but you may see each other when enjoying the rest of the farm. Cell phone service is spotty. Pets are not allowed due to my kids severe allergies. NOTE: Vrbo incorrectly listed this house as having internet but it DOES NOT. The other lodge, the Taylor Lodge has internet and satellite TV if you are interested in those amenities. Swimming in the lake, use of the paddle and jon boats, and use of the bunk beds are at your own risk and we will be held harmless for any injuries or any other damages or claims resulting from the use of these items. Summary: Just got back from our second stay at this location. Our family rented both cottages and therefore had the entire location to ourselves. All of us swam, fished , hiked and hardly touched our electronic devices! Your cottage and outside needs are all there. Just bring some worms and your bathing suit. I highly recommend this VRBO. BTW, bring your food in as the nearest grocery store is about a 20 minute ride!

Summary: This was our 3rd stay. We have now stayed in Spring, Summer, and fall! This location is absolutely magic all seasons. We have 3 boys and they love it here. They were able to swim already because the lake was warm enough. We caught and released at a few dozen fish. We hope to visit again soon.

Summary: If you like a rural setting on a small lake and no one around to bother you, this is the place. We had the whole place to ourselves in a gated setting. If you must have wifi, and cell phones and tv, this isn't for you, but if you want to get away from all of these things for a simple, reflective time of peace and quiet, this is a great little , resort-like atmosphere, place to go. It had great accommodations with a nice kitchen with all the necessary applicances and cookware. Will most likely go back again!!

Summary: This was our second visit and we had a great extended weekend at The Carver Lodge again. Our first visit was with our kids during the summer so we did a lot of swimming, fishing, and hiking. This trip we decided to just do a romantic weekend without them, which was much needed for my soul! Lol. We were able to fish all day and relax in the evenings while having deer to watch from the deck. We also look forward to the beavers swimming around the lake and seeing what kind of new structures they have built since last time. The Carvers are seriously the best hosts ever, they always make sure we have everything we need and then some. Thank you again to opening your property to us and allowing us to reset for the next few months. We will be planning a spring visit very soon.

Summary: My family and I have stayed here 4 years in a row. It is awesome. Really idyllic lake cabin location. Dock and area really well set up. The owners are really responsive and improve the place every year. Close to several nice state park, we do day trips in the morning then just enjoy the lake an property in the afternoon evenings. Really great annual family time for us every summer. I highly recommend this place (or the one at the other side of the lake.

Summary: We had a great long weekend at the lodge. We were greeted by Dan who showed us around the house and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Now about the property and stay. The cabin was perfect for us and has everything you need to stay. The property was beyond amazing! We went fishing every morning, noon, and night! We caught large mouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. We met up with the neighbors and all really had a great visit while there. The boys went on the trail and received their metal, our youngest is still walking around with his on because he’s very proud of doing the hike. The rest of the time we were there, we sat in floats and relaxed in the perfect lake and jumping off the platform in the lake. Honestly we can’t wait to take a couples trip later in the fall for more fishing and relaxing. Thank you for opening your home to us. We will be returning often!
