Make yourself at home in our cozy 832 sqft, 2 BD, 1 BA home. This beautifully remodeled home was built in the 1940's. It is fully equipped with modern amenities but still has its original charm. Located just 3/4 mile from historic Leclaire, you are just minutes away from great dining options, unique shopping opportunities, and live music at a local brewery, winery, or distillery. The Leclaire area is also convenient for Mississippi River access for those fishing enthusiasts!
About this Space-
Living room:
A large smart TV is available to sign into any of your favorite streaming services. Hulu and DisneyPlus are provided.
Kitchen:
Use the fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove, oven, and microwave. Basic cooking essentials are provided (oil, salt, pepper, basic seasonings/spices). Appliances include: toaster, coffee maker, blender, pizzazz, and crockpot. Coffee, creamer, sweetner, and a variety of teas are also provided.
Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms with a queen mattress in each room (linens, pillows, and extra blankets are provided).
Bathroom:
A full bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms. In the winter months, enjoy the heated marble floor!!
Basement:
A washer and dryer are available for use in the basement. There is also a queen sized sleeper futon that can accommodate 1 more guest. Note: while the basement is clean, it is unfinished.
You will have access to the entire property. This includes a three-season front porch with river views, an outdoor fire pit in the back yard (firewood provided), and a charcoal grill (charcoal, lighter fluid, and utensils provided).
1. Please keep in mind that trains do pass through periodically. The tracks are located across the street and some conductors are more thoughtful than others. A majority of the time the trains go unnoticed and are enjoyable, but if they become bothersome ear plugs are provided if needed for restful sleeping at night.
2. The driveway has a slight incline and is narrow. Please take caution. This will be maintained in the winter months. There is a wide shoulder you can utilize for pulling in and out.
3. If you are towing a boat, please contact me ahead of time for convenient ways to park/store your boat.

Summary: I usually stay with my friend who lives in Le Claire. However, there family recently expanded with guest rooms being sparse. This cozy home was the perfect location. It was very toddler friendly. I didn’t have to worry about my son getting into anything. He was able to roam the house and not get hurt. This was a nice place to come home to after spending time with family and friends. We were all very comfortable and it had all of the amenities for an easy stay. We have recommended that our friend use this home for more family and friends when they come into town. We will certainly be staying again. Thank you!

Summary: We are three busy moms who needed to get away and so we met in the middle in LeClaire. Little did we know how charming the town is, the streets are clean and the food trucks were plentiful on Cody, the town’s Main Street. This VRBO was well stocked, so clean, had plenty of towels on hand for the bathroom and communication was so prompt with the owner. We loved that Smart TV for movie night, the picture is amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Yes, the parking situation is a little tight for 3 cars on a somewhat busy road, but we made it work. We just loved the place and our time together! The little touches to make the stay so cozy did not go unnoticed. I just brought my sound maker and the trains passing through did not bother me, or my friends.

Summary: We were very impressed with the property which was clean and well appointed with updated appliances and fixtures. It was comfortable, stylish and relaxing. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will potentially stay there again in the future next time we visit the quad cities.

Summary: Most VRBO properties have a book stating where things are in the house and house rules. Like grill in the garage. Found it on my own looking over the house. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Summary: The house's location is great. It was very clean & decorated so cute & Cozy and smelled great!! It's tucked in a quiet pocket of trees in the back and a decent view from the front porch which was our favorite spot at the house. Kacie is a sweet and thoughtful host. We love visiting Le Claire & will definitely be back!
