Our home features an open living, dining and kitchen area with 5 sliding glass doors. Bring the marsh and gulf views in! With a screened porch, lower and upper sun decks, and covered outdoor seating The Marsh House is the perfect place to relax after a day of world class fishing, scalloping and fun. Keaton Beach and boat ramps are both a 1/2 mile away. In addition to the living area the downstairs has a full bath w/shower and queen bedroom. Upstairs the Master bedroom has a queen bed and additional twin. There is inside access to the 3rd queen bedroom which also has a private external entrance. Both rooms access the full bath with tub and shower Jack & Jill style. The living room & Master bedroom and downstairs bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TV's which have 71 TV channels. Come and enjoy! You may love hunting, fishing, boating, bird watching, kayaking, nature hiking, snorkeling, or quiet ocean walks. Regardless it's all here for you. Oh.....our favorite part.....did I tell you about the sunsets at The Marsh House? / Neighborhood Info - Our home is located in peaceful and quiet Ezell Beach which is a neighborhood located in Keaton Beach FL. Originally subdivided in the early 50's the neighborhood consists of about 25 mostly newer homes on piers located on the salt marsh and Gulf, a corner convenience store within easy walking distance and a salvage yard. The salvage yard is very quiet but passing the yard to get to our home does distract from the overall aesthetics of our neighborhood, if you look that direction. Otherwise, it in no way interferes with the gorgeous Marsh or Gulf views. We do see it while coming and going however once at our home we don't even know it's there. To our knowledge the area is very safe and very little to no traffic passes our home as we are the last home on a dead end street. Our grandchildren endlessly explore the entire community and the shallow shoreline on their bicycles and scooters. Located on one of the last undeveloped coastlines in Florida Keaton Beach is really a return to the "Old Florida". It's a perfect place to relax and for all things outdoors. Especially known for world class fishing and it's famous summer scallop season, outdoor activities abound. They include kayaking, paddle boarding, biking. The local beach one mile away has picnic pavilions, restrooms, outdoor showers, a playground and a beautiful pier. The county boat ramp is 1/2 mile from our home and there is a 4 mile paved bike road which leads through coastal marshes from Keaton Beach to Dark Island Rd. Bicycle, Kayak and Paddle Board rentals are available from Keaton Beach Vacation Rentals. If you're after shopping or nightlife Keaton is not the place for you. There are two convenience stores in Keaton with deli & hot food service and one restaurant open Thur-Sun. The closest meaningful shopping, grocery stores or restaurants are located in Perry 17 miles away. The Marsh House is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast or for relaxing and rejuvenating with beautiful views. Policies/House Rules..Smoking Outside is Permitted
Upon checkout no More Than 2 Kitchen Bags Of Trash May Be Left in total meaning inside or outside. All other trash must be taken to County Trash Convenience Center (1 1/2 miles). Note..the outside trash can must be left empty. Scallop Shells and Fish Cleaning Remains Cannot be Thrown in Marsh Around Home and Must Be Removed (taken to the county trash center, thrown into the gulf at the end of Ezell beach rd or elsewhere, etc, etc). Dishes and Pots should be left washed. "Crews" coming to the area to work are not allowed.
Leaving Doors Open While Running Air Condition Will Cause HVAC To Freeze Up. If a HVAC Service Call Is Required Due to This Occurrence the guest Will Be Charged The Service Call. Our cleaning fee is knowingly set above market. Guests compliance with house rules pertaining to trash removal & removal of fish and scallop remains will result in a $50 refund of the cleaning fee charged upon checkout. Thank you!
