1 Bedroom Place in Barnstead

Welcome to the Parade Inn! A 260 yr old farmhouse right on the Suncook River.
Enjoy a great vacation right on the river and Barnstead Parade Grounds. Stunning sunrises over the Suncook River. Swim, canoe, kayak or paddle boat in the summer, and a snowmobile trail around the corner for winter! Multiple mountains for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
First floor bedroom and full bathroom for grandma and grandpa! 6 bedrooms: 5 have queen-size beds, one has 3 bunk beds. There are 4 bathrooms (two are en-suites to bedrooms). We have a laundry room, BBQ grill, adult rated swings, two refrigerators (52 CF of storage) and a hot tub on the large back deck and yard overlooking the river. The yard also has a great hill for sledding!
Due to insurance, we no longer will accept animals.

Summary: Owners were great. We would go back again. Wonderful for large groups! Spacious. Fun on the river, yard games, hot tub. Updated property.

Summary: There were 13 of us ages 9 - 64 and there was ample space for all of is. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, kayaking and swimming. We even had a fire and movie nights by the water. Ken & Barbara were amazing hosts and made our stay comfortable and welcoming.

Summary: Everything and more! Amazing place to stay with a large group and access to a river with all the things you need to go out on the water. Ken and Barbara were the best hosts and we want to come back next year! Oh yeah, fresh baked cookies still warm out of the oven! Loved this place!

Summary: This is the second time we've stayed in this rental. It is the perfect size for our family of 15. The owner (Ken) is awesome. We had a couple of minor issues and Ken addressed them within minutes. The hot tub was awesome as well as the other activities that were available to us. Wonderful family vacation.

Summary: The Parade Inn is the perfect place for a family vacation. The home is very large, clean and right on the lake. Barb and Ken are wonderful hosts and they made sure we had an awesome stay. You can’t go wrong vacationing at the Parade Inn.

Summary: Our stay truly couldn't have been much better(except for a little rain). Ken and Barb(ie) have a beautiful property. We loved the back deck with a wonderful view(and hot tub). They have a large yard for playing games. The kids had fun canoeing and kayaking. But the best thing was the warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived. We all are talking about going back again. Thanks for a fun weekend.

Summary: Our family stayed at Parade Inn to attend our son’s wedding at Dell-Lea. Ken and Barb were great hosts. Ken answered questions quickly. The cookies Barb made were gone by the second day. Would highly recommend this stay for family get together,

Summary: We had 16 of us ranging in age from 4-86. Most of us are from NH but my son and grandchildren flew in from FL, and AZ. It has been many years since we have all had a Christmas together and this was the perfect place for that to happen. The house is big and beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. Ken even put up a Christmas tree with lights for the kids to decorate and there were cookies on arrival!!!!!!! The pictures of the listing do not do justice to how wonderful this home is to stay in. We made memories here that will last a lifetime!!!! Thank you for that Ken!!!
