Summary: Home is very cozy and well furnished. The views of the water are spectacular. It was wonderful to relax during the day and evening of the graduation events . It’s a bit far -25 min- from Ann Arbor but it was worth it.

Summary: The only thing wrong with this place is that we didn’t rent it longer! Absolutely pristine and comfortable environment. So sad to leave, cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for giving these city slickers an opportunity to enjoy a little bit of the lake life!

Summary: This was our third time and had a blast! Amazing lakehouse, great waterfront location, large screened porch, swimming from dock, fishing, owner's offer fun amenities including kayaks, Lilly Pad and Corn Hole. Inside is impeccable, well stocked kitchen and every detail thought out. We've rented many lakehouses, this is the best and we'll be back.

Summary: Amazing lake view, great house, best stocked VRBO I’ve ever been to. My family came on different days and we’re so impressed that they might look into renting it! The neighbor with the cute labradors was a bit grumpy and nosy (I don’t think he likes the fact that it’s rented out so much?) but we didn’t let that bother us. The kayaks, float, and all the other beach essentials were awesome! Overall, it was a fantastic place!

Summary: Located on the edge of Portage Lake, this house offers stunning views of the lake from windows across the front bedroom, living/dining, sunroom & kitchen. Owners Dan & Liz are welcoming and gracious — and their home reflects a lovely balance of style & functionality with whimsical touches adding a cozy vibe throughout. The online photos understate the beauty of the interior. Furnishings, linens and appliances are all top of the line, with a ‘cook’s kitchen’ that has exactly the right stuff in it, and literally everything needed to enjoy the property is in its place. Outside, the fire pit & seating were perfect for 4-6, while the 2 very nice kayaks make exploring the ‘chain of lakes’ a true pleasure. This is one of the nicest houses I’ve every rented and I hope to return again soon.
