The "Old Church" is the perfect combination of rustic Vermont charm and modern amenities. This Vermont getaway is located minutes from Stratton Mountain, a short walk from Pikes Falls. And, a short drive from Mount Snow, Bromley Mountain and outlet shopping in Manchester, VT. The wood-burning stove creates a warm and cozy environment within the open floor plan which combines the family, kitchen & dinning areas. The five bedrooms can comfortably sleep 11 guests. There is a full bathroom on each floor. The upstairs bathroom has a separate shower and small-Jacuzzi tub. The laundry and game room (pool & ping-pong tables) are in the basement along with a corn-hole set which can also be played on the deck. The U-shaped deck provides a great outdoor entertainment space to grill and enjoy a cozy fire.

Summary: The house was well equipped and comfortable. We had a 15 month old with us during the day and it worked out great. Falls are fun to walk to. Our only issue was communication. I didn’t get the usual email with check in information so when we arrived I still hadn’t gotten an access code or a phone number. I reached out to VRBO and they located him. Don’t expect to watch tv unless you are very tech savvy(we’re in our 60’s). You have to connect your own device and there are no instructions. I reached out to owner for a couple of other things , like instructions for the wood stove . Never did hear back. We use VRBO a few times a year and fortunately we have always had great experience!

Summary: The house was great. Plenty of room for a large family. Short walk to Pikes Falls which was amazing. My teenagers loved the pool and ping pong table. Great summer vacation!

Summary: Great spot, beautiful home, with a well equipped kitchen. Kids enjoyed having the ping pong and pool table downstairs. Easy walk to Pikes falls, and a short drive to many other cool spots. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: The house is very comfortable, is much more spacious than the pictures provided for this house . The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are real friendly. I enjoyed our stay, hope to be back soon!
