Quiet, cozy, clean. Entire house, in Historic Midtown. Walkable neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants, craft brewery, an Italian bakery, an independent bookstore, the farmers market and more (see section on neighborhood). Free street parking. If parking is a challenge, contact me for directions to free lot parking around the corner. This house is located on a one way, narrow street which makes it exceptionally quiet for the city. Located in the historic district, the neighborhood is friendly but private. We are 2 blocks from the river and the entire city is surrounded by a 25 mile bike/walking trail (see photos for map). We are 30 minutes from Hershey, 90 minutes from State College (Penn State), 90 minutes from Philadelphia and Baltimore. The entire house is available to guests. We farm about an hour out of the city, but are available by phone, text and email. The neighborhood is entirely walkable and bikeable with coffee shops, restaurants, an independent cinema, craft brewery, greenbelt, river access, farmers market, Italian bakery, independent bookstore, art museums, the state capitol building and so much more. City Island offers baseball, soccer, biking, mini-golf and kayaking. Two blocks from walking and biking along the river. PLEASE NOTE: At this time, please confirm whether these amenities are open before you make a trek there, due to COVID guidelines. Amtrak, Greyhound and buses accessible within a 10 minute drive (buses are more nearby). Free on-street parking. Easy access to bike lane and greenbelt.
