Inside the heart of black forest mountains, Unterkirnach is a small but wealthy,clean,peaceful and “postcard-view” town.
This house is located in the outskirt of the Unterkirnach town center and walking distance to step into the mountains and forests. Outside the house is pure nature and inside the house is modern decoration.
PS: House owner lives in another town close by, the entire home will be handed to you while you check in. You can call the owner if some emergency help/support is needed.
Both self check in and host showing up are available.

. Walking distance to the forests , Kirnach Lake, playground and “farm zoo“ for the local children.
. In 3 km radius, reaches several ski parks, mountains,forests,lakes and hiking/biking trails.
. 15 min drive to famous Schwarzwald cities like Triberg and Villingen.
. 40 min drive to Titisee, around 1 hour drive to Freiburg, Stuttgart,Zürich and Bodensee.
Based on the German law, visitors need to pay the city tax(Kurtaxe) in cash when arrive. In return, you receive a visitors’ card(KONUS GÄSTEKARTE) from your host, which grants you numerous discounts and even some free entrance fees to most events in Schwarzwald area, etc.
This is an old traditional house in the middle of the forest area together with nearly 600m² garden land to be maintained. Therefore some signs of wear, some scratches or unswept spots might be unavoidably found on some objects somewhere. We deeply appreciate your understanding in advance.

Summary: Emily and her House where awesome.The house is so clean and cosy.The outside with the dog fence was so sweet and we loved it.Sad we had to cant stay the whole time cause of health issues.But if you looking for a perfect stay in this area, take this home.

Summary: We were unable to stay at this property for several reasons: 1. Parking - there was parking for only one small car at the property, we were traveling in two cars. 2. Outside stairs - there are two flights of steep, stone steps up to the property with NO handrail. Access was therefore too dangerous especially for my elderly, but active mother. (If there had been a handrail we may have been able to use the property, as it was close to a supermarket and had great views) 3. Despite being expected the fridge was not turned on and as it takes up to four hours for a refrigerator to function properly food safety could have compromised if we had stayed. Fortunately we were able to find suitable, comfortable, welcoming accommodation in the Black Forest, but our holiday costs were doubled though no fault of our own.

Summary: Really comfortable house, has everything you might need. Well equipped kitchen was great, bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. Lovely outdoor deck with amazing view, great for a morning coffee. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This home worked well for our group of 8 for a three-night stay. Emily was great in communicating and meeting our needs (international and German guests). Among the 8 of us, we used most of the amenities (sauna, gym, internet, wood stove, kitchen, outdoor deck, grill, and washer), and all worked flawlessly. The children really enjoyed the village's parks, and we found great trails to hike in the Schwarzwald.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient, it's easy to reach the supermarket and the bus station. The two gardens are wonderful, especially the front one with a pavilion. That's our favorite spot, with a cup of coffee, we could sit there for a whole day. Emily is a nice host, she replied quick and gave us helpful advice. Check in and check out was easy and simple. We really recommend it.

Summary: We had a great stay in Emily's house. The house is located in the town center which is quiet and peaceful as well. We love to sit at the front terrace with a cup of tea and enjoy the beautiful view of the Black Forest. Both the front and back terraces are great spot to relax. The Sauna and the Gym are well equipped and private. The Internet is super fast too:) Emily is a very kind and helful host. She welcomed us and showed us around the house and introduced something around the town. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back to the Black Forest again. Highly recommand to other travellers.
