Summary: The River Shack was very clean and had alot of little extra touches. Loved all the soft throw blankets, fire place, and kayaks. My family had an amazing weekend getaway here. I would definitely want to go back and would recommend to my friends and family.

Summary: The area was so quiet and peaceful. Great for friends to sit and talk. Beautiful looking out at the river and we even saw a Bald Eagle. The refrig did not make ice so had to find a store to have ice. Everything seemed to be provided. There were a few things I would have liked "fixed" or cleaned up (grill) but overall this was the best choice as it provided together time which would have been hard in a hotel room. Will go back.

Summary: It is a nice place that even better after finally getting inside. Clean and nice amenities . Nice living space and kitchen had plenty so we could make meals. The bathroom was amply supplied with towels and clean as well. It is remote but we enjoyed one day and drove into Lafayette.Would return if going to this area again.

Summary: Our stay here was very calm and relaxing. The house was beautiful and very clean. The house came fully stocked with cookware so we didn’t have to eat out. The area alone was very quiet. The neighbors were very friendly. We will love to stay here again. Our new home away from home!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay the home was clean and cozy. The care basket in the bathroom was great because it just so happened the kids forgot their toothbrushes. We grilled out and enjoyed some quiet time on the deck! Definitely a 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
