Positive: Excellent location. Street parking out front. From the balcony, you could watch storks in their nests. About a 10-minute drive to Ephesus. Restaurants close by are within walking distance. Nice balcony to relax. Hosts are very kind and friendly. Great space for a family of 4.

Positive: Breakfast was not included, except some sweet delivered in the morning. Spacious apartment, very comfortable. Excellent logistics with close and open view of the castle.
Negative: Only small details could be improved, like providing a shelf or similar to lay one’s bathroom set and use it easily. Basically no negative notes at all.
Summary: Pleasant, practical and fitting our need to get a comfortable hub for our exploration of Ephesus.

Positive: Great hospitality, incredible location and spacious rooms. Ali was a lovely host and very accommodating and offered us a late check out when he knew what time our flight was for, without even having to ask for it. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Positive: First off the property. It is right in the center of the city, and our patio had room for full dinner and overlooked St. John’s Bruce and an incredible Stork nest. I really don’t know how you could have a better location. There is a very busy main tourist area with a ton of restaurants and bars, but that would be incredibly loud. Our place was located maybe 100 m away and was totally private and quiet. The place itself was impeccably, clean, and well appointed. The owner, Ali, has incredible attention to detail, and there were so many custom and handmade touches throughout the apartment. Now let me tell you about Ali and his family. He made sure to meet us on the street when we came in and showed us a place to park. He took us up to our room and gave us a tour and showed us how everything operated. We stopped by one of his stores (La Tulip) and bought a ton of high-quality reasonable priced Turkish goods. Ali gave us great recommendations for dinner both nights. At the end of both nights, my daughter and I ended up at his shop sitting out front, enjoying a beer (or two) with Ali, his friend, and for a little bit his cousin Marco. I learned more about Turkey in those two evenings than I did the rest of the three weeks I was in Turkey, and all my research prior to that. The people, the politics, the conflicts, the history. And most importantly, (and interestingly) Ali and his family. There is a difference between a “traveler” and a “tourist.” if you fancy yourself a traveler, you really need to make sure to buy Ali a beer and ask him about the city, the country, or his life. But I he will have already bought the beer, tea, coffee, or the pastries that he hung on our door in the morning as he is so incredibly generous with both his time and his food and drink. Try to beat him to the punch, and enjoy him and his family. Oh, and don’t forget, the apartment is actually quite beautiful and in a perfect location.

Positive: Ali was a great host. He gave us good tips on where to eat and how to move around Selcuk. His apartment was excellently located in the centre of town, a short walk to St John's Basilica and the Ayasoluk Castle. There is also a convenience store just round the corner from the apartment where we could get water and necessities. Strongly recommend!
