Positive: Room was good and staff very helpful when we tried to check in early after we’d been hiking for a few days. We could drop off our luggage and go into town. They called us as soon as the room was ready, less than an hour later. Very helpful!
Negative: The hotel had a bit of an empty feel to it, despite being full/almost full and being part of a camping on the outskirts of town. The reception desk is in a different building when you enter the camping. There is no lounge or bar that is staffed. Everything was fine and breakfast was good, but for a bit of atmosphere, a drink or food, you definitely have to go into town (easy 10-15 walk). Most guests seemed families and staying for a longer period and probably bring their own food etc; we only spent one night when we had to change our hiking plans, so probably aren’t typical guest. We were very happy though to have found an affordable room last minute in August.

Positive: A fair breakfast but could be improved with local product. The pool was very welcome.
Negative: A bit far from the center of the city. At the time we came, the camping area was in work, thus not the best surrounding.
Summary: A nice base camp for ski hiking. The staff was very nice and helpful

Positive: Very pleasant stay. I was there at the end of the summer season so it was very quiet. I would think the entire site would be quite busy in peak season. It was lovely to have a kettle in the room.
Negative: Walls are very thin, so could I hear my neighbours very easily. Pillow was insubstantial
