This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom Poconos lakefront home is nestled in the amenity-filled Big Bass Lake Community. Whether you're looking for a quiet get-away or an activity-filled mountain escape, this spacious yet cozy home won't disappoint! The private beach and dock with kayaks, canoe and paddleboat provide easy access to the 100-acre Big Bass Lake; enjoy bass fishing or a peaceful ride around the island. Located within minutes of Gouldsboro and Tobyhanna State Parks for hiking, fishing and boating and less than 15 miles from all the Poconos has to offer (skiing, golfing, hiking, rafting, Kalahari Resort and more!)
The recently renovated house includes large gameroom, hot tub overlooking the lake, wood-burning fireplace, firepit on the beach (wood included), cable tv (50" and 60" flat screen) and free internet/wi-fi. Open access from both levels of the house, large deck/grill and firepit on the beach provide endless lake and sunset views!
The Big Bass Community offers many amenities for all seasons including outdoor pool (summer), tennis courts, basketball court, community beach (with lifeguard), playgrounds, indoor pool (winter) and a family skiing / sledding hill in the community. Guess passes are required for use of amenities and can be purchase for a small fee (13 years and over).

Summary: Great winter weekend getaway! House was clean, inviting, and fun! Our boys played ping pong, football, and air hockey all weekend. Short drive to Kalahari for the indoor waterpark and easy drive to Scranton to visit family and see a movie. The weather didn’t cooperate for the day we planned to ski, but we hunkered down with the fireplace roaring, some movies, and books. Great home and great location!

Summary: Everyone in our group - including kids from 3 to 16 - caught fish & loved using the dock, the kayaks, canoe & row boat. The downstairs is a kids paradise - the bunk room, ping pong, big sectional to get cozy on & watch movies or play games. Plenty of room at mealtime for everyone. The pool & sprinkler section on a hot day was great too.

Summary: Our vacation was amazing and this property made it that much better. We were pleasantly surprised with the furniture upgrades (bunk beds and couches) from the photos in the original listing. Plenty of space for the 11 of us (7 adults and 4 kids) to hang out and relax. Plenty of things to do on the water, games to play on a rainy day, or space for a good nap. Thirty minute drive or less to most Pocono activities (mini golf, Junction Ive Cream, Pocono Race Way, etc.) and about 1.5 hours from Knoebels Amusement Park. I grew up going to the Poconos and all week got to hear my kids say how much they loved the Poconos. The house is amazing, the property is perfect for any time of year in the Poconos and the host is great and answers any and all questions! 5 stars all around!

Summary: We absolutely loved being right on the lake with all the lake amenities included. Hours of fun with the paddle board, kayaks and boats! The fire pit lakeside was a great plus too. Some deck furniture to hang out on would be a much welcomed addition as there was only the table to sit at.

Summary: Had a great trip here with 5 old buddies that hadn't been together in 10+years. Great location, layout was perfect with 5 bedrooms, access to kayak/jon boat, hot tub, game room. Great fishing. It was a great house that made for an awesome trip. 100% recommend!

Summary: Very kind owners. House in great condition, seems like most of it was recently renovated. Basement, master bedroom etc like new. Great bunkbed room with lots of space, feels special. Quality construction. Even grandparents will have no problem opening the sliding doors.

Summary: We loved the location of this house- in a very wooded, quiet community, right on the lake with a terrific deck overlooking the water. Plenty of room in the house for relaxing, playing games, eating and reading. We hope to go back next year.
