Positive: The room were very comfortable and the housekeeping did a good job. I only had a small issue with the property because of the booking charges. I had initially gotten a good discount on Booking.com and hence I chose to stay at this hotel. Booking.com also did not need me to pay upfront except for using a credit card to book the room. The SGD rates was converted to TWD for the booking. However, when I was checking out, the staff asked if I wanted to be charged in SGD and TWD. I asked for it to be in TWD but was eventually charged SGD thus resulting in FX losses from a double conversion plus credit card charges. Hence my discount totally vanished. This was only resolved when I wrote back to the hotel to state the problem.
