Summary: It was ok, but extremely dated and in need of renovations. I wouldn't have been comfortable staying here solo, door lock was dodgy, and it felt a bit dodgy in general, but it was ok for two mates needing a cheap nights rest.

Summary: This eas the second time we had stayed at this motel. The forst tine we knew it was cheap, it was rough, but the room was clean enough and wasnt so bad. This tine around was a major put off. The room my friends got had a door handle that was barely holding together and opened when locked, there was so much mould in the shower it was disgusting, there was a second bed held up with bricks and foam (as the legs were gone on it), there were scratch marks and burns from presumably crack needles all over the bed side table, lamps missing, and whits stains on the doona cover. The smell in that room was unbearable. Room 25. It honeslty gave the vibe that someone has OD'd and died in there at some stage. The room my partner and I got (whilst very outdated and in need of a lot of repair) was okay enough. We asked reception if we could change rooms for my friend and she was very obliging and friendly, and id say the service there is great, but overal that place needs to be gutted/demolished and re built. The man near us in another room was so unfriendly and just blew smoke in our faces when we walked past and said hello. Our room reeked of cigarettes the whole time. The location of this place is fantastic, the staff are trying their best, but its a gamble staying here. Doable for one night, maybe 2, if you score a just habital room, but otherwise you are very much getting what you pay for here. Its just old, not being maintained, and needs to be re built completely.
