Summary: Ideally situated at one of the entrances of Naejangsan NP. The hotel is basic, but has everything necessary. The room is spacious and well kept, though decorations are a bit antique. The bathroom has a typical Asian tub (relatively small and deep), and offers all amenities you need. Towels are relatively small, so if you want larger ones, we suggest to take your own. The walls of the room are thin, which makes that you hear the noises in the hallway or the next room. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, even to the point of driving in front of us to show us a good restaurant and helping us order once there.

Summary: The hotel is very near the Naejangsan National Parks Baegyangsa Temples entrance, making it a great base for our hike in the park. From Jeongeup bus station there is a bus that bounds for Baegyangsa about 8 times a day to the Baegyangsa bus-stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Along the way to the hotel there are a lot of restaurants serving inexpensive set menus that consist of many dishes of seasonal wild vegetables, meat/fish, and rice. So food is definitely not an issue and we enjoyed every meal that we had there.The hotel owners are a very kind elderly couple. They dont speak English so during my stay every time I had a question the lady would call her son who could speak English. The hotel has no elevator so be prepared to carry your suitcase up and down the stairs yourself. There is no restaurant onsite but the lady offered that I could use the kitchen to prepare food, but with so many eateries nearby why bother cooking? I had a beautiful mountain view from my room and enjoyed my stay very much. On our last day the gentleman drove us to the bus stop. I had a wonderful time with good quality sleep and a very steep yet enjoyable hike up to the peaks in the park, in addition to the warm hospitality from this very kind couple. I look forward to returning and staying here again.
