Centrally located at 917 Piedmont Avenue on the most beautiful street in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, our home sits above the street on the corner of Piedmont and 8th Street with sweeping views of the Midtown skyline. It is a meticulously restored and elegantly furnished 2-story Victorian.
This gracious and elegant property is a unique event space and movie location in the central part of Midtown Atlanta. Guests enter from the street through a Japanese garden to reach the large front porch with generous seating overlooking the Midtown skyline. The central foyer has hardwood floors, a large fireplace, original stained glass windows, and an imposing staircase perfect for wedding photos. Opening onto the foyer are a living room, large dining room, kitchen, library, and 1/2 bath. The home is beautifully furnished with items in keep with its heritage but updated for comfort. There is a beautiful baby grand piano in the living room available for use. Our home has been used by movie stars, business executives, company staff, families, and anyone desiring an open floor plan. It can easily accommodate 45-60 people for a function. It's also been the location for various movie shoots and is popular with the film industry.
The house is available for events such as small weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, luncheons, business meetings, retreats, reunions, etc. Rental fees depend on the size of the event and your plans for use of the facility, such as catering, open bar, music, etc.

Summary: Our family gathered at the beautiful Royal home on Piedmont in Midtown Atlanta. What a lovely home, well appointed and great location. Karen is a pleasure to work with and responds quickly to any question. We couldn't have asked for a better home and location to host Thanksgiving! We will be back for sure!

Summary: Staying at this beautiful southern home with so much charm was the perfect place to welcome friends and family to Atlanta. The home is spacious and location is perfect in walking distance to great coffee shops and restaurants. The gracious old southern home is full of beautiful treasures and one feels they are staying in a lovely B & B rather than a rental home. We had a wonderful weekend and highly recommend this beautiful home.

Summary: The house was amazing, Victorian furnishings and all. The proximity to things in midtown was second to none, the park, botanical gardens and plenty of great restaurants. Karen was very helpful and attentive to all of our needs/questions/etc. Downtown was walkable but easier to take a short Uber or Lyft. I would absolutely recommend this charming property and I hope we get to return sooner than later!! :)

Summary: The home was very accommodating, fully furnished and conveniently located centrally to all activities and entertainment. I would have given it 5 stars but the housekeeper could do a better job with the housekeeping and exterminating. The ants are bad in the kitchen. But overall it is a great place to stay.
