Summary: Evergreen Inn is an older motel with all the basics needed for a comfortable night's rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were within a short walking distance of places to eat. It was also a very quiet location.

Summary: We stayed one night on our way to the Iowa State Fair. Room was clean but dated. The bed had a distinct sag in the center, I spent the night rolling into my husband everytime I turned over! Check was at 4 pm when the front desk staff person opened up. She was quite friendly and very chatty. The only serious downside was finding some spiders here and there (shower and nightstand). Right on the main drag going thru town (Hwy 34). Easy in and out but you do get quite a bit of traffic noise. Price was surprisingly inexpensive! All told, we'd stay here again :)
