6 Bedroom House in Wedowee

Our lakehouse is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our second home is designed to accommodate families or friends who just need a get away. We offer five bedrooms, four baths, a large open living area on the main floor which includes a great room, a coffee bar, a fully-stocked kitchen and dining room, master bedroom with king size bed and large bath with walk-in shower, soaking tub and two sinks and toilet, a second bedroom with queen size bed and bath with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet, and also includes a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Also on the main level is a large screen porch with two dining tables that will seat 8 with a conversation area as well. A small open deck can be accessed either from the porch or the master bedroom. The lower level has a bedroom with king-size bed and jack-and-jill bath that connects with another bedroom that has 2 sets of bunk beds. There is also another bedroom with a queen-size bed with a bath across the hall that has a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity with one sink. A fully stocked kitchen is also on this level with a dining area, and a combination playroom/den area with a 65” TV. French doors and full size windows provide a wonderful view of the lake and has outdoor covered seating to enjoy watching activity on the lake and a hot tub for your use. We have a walkway down to the gazebo which connects to a beautiful double decker dock. A boat is not included in the rental but I have information about boat rental companies that have boats for rent. We also have a children’s playset.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake home. The property was beautifully decorated and had so much room for our large family. We will definitely request to stay here again. Summary: We had a tremendous stay at this location. 6 adults, handful of teens, and a couple of almost teens have been doing annual lake trips since 2017. This was our first trip to Wedowee and the house did not disappoint. Everything came as advertised and the layout worked really well for us. I appreciated how everything was well stocked with items most travelers probably forget and the host was attentive and super helpful with answers to questions from first time Wedowee visitors.

Summary: The house was perfect for our family of 14. Everything we needed and more. The decor was fabulous and the kids loved the playground and hot tub. The owner was attentive to every question and the location on the lake was perfect. We will definitely book this lovely home again.

Summary: Gayle's lake house is truly amazing. Our family of 9 had a great time. The home is renovated, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We loved the large screened in deck for meals, and the screened in gazebo for games by the water. The home is located on a very quiet and peaceful part of the lake. We would absolutely return one day if possible.

Summary: This is a beautiful lake house! The house is spacious, very well stocked, and kid friendly. We have rented many lake houses over the years and this one is at the top of our list! Not only is it a great set up for a large family with young kids, but the owner is really the best one we have ever rented from. All the adults on down to the grandkids had a really great time!
