Summary: This is our second time staying here, and it was even better than the first time. There were two fantastic firework displays in the harbour area, one at the start and one at the end of our week here. Local restaurants all good, especially breakfasts. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone. James.

Summary: View is excellent, lots of fun to watch boats travel the canal. House is very comfortable. Kitchen pots and pans should be updated but overall kitchen is well stocked . Bathrooms are spacious. It is a wonderful property, I highly recommend spending holiday there. Thank you Astrid and Jon Luc for a lovely stay and wonderful memories.

Summary: Nice location, kitchen well equiped, nice terrase, beds could be better. Bit strange you have to bring your own towels.... But overall a nice place to stay for a week.

Summary: We had een fantastic holiday in Port-en-Bessin Huppain. Our hostess, Astrid, was very friendly and helpful. The house is wonderful and the view from the terrace is magnificent. Port-en-Bessin Huppain is a lovely and lively village with nice restaurants and boutiques. The boutique of Astrid, La Compagnie Ordinaire De La Mer, is a must visit!

Summary: We spent a week here. We easily explored Omaha Beach, American cemetery, St Michel, St Malo, Honfleur, etc. It is perfect in every way. Great views of the port, you can walk right to all the restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries. The bedrooms are comfortable and having the extra 1/2 bath downstairs is a plus. The terrace is a gem. Amazing views and you can eat under the covered part even if it is cold or raining. Highly recommend. Communication was excellent.

Summary: Lovely views, conveniently placed for exploring the Normandy D day landing beaches. Near to restaurants and village shops. Local bakery is excellent just across the bridge. The house is fully equipped, the third bedroom is very small. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.

Summary: I was swayed by the amount of positive reviews and they were right! The terrace is larger than I expected and such a great place to spend time. The town is also prettier than I thought it would be. We hired bikes from the garage and cycled to Bayeux, visited museums, swam, walked, went to the markets in the town. Ice-creams from Le Glacier are v good.

Summary: We had a lovely week. The house is very well equipped, clean and is in a great location. It was nice being able to sit out on the terrace - the glass veranda was excellent as we were able to sit outside whatever the weather. Jean-Luc answered our emails promptly and Astrid was very helpful with local information. We will return sometime.

Summary: House has a great location to local and regional amenities. The Port is busy in the day, but everything is shut by 10.30-11, which makes a quite (sometime too quite stay). House great, the stairs are creaky but you get use to them., we found our double bed VERY firm, but the rest of the house worked really well. The local fish market is amazing a provided lots of interesting food. Getting out and about to beaches and all the locations around the area is very easy as we brought our own car. We would highly recommend this for a family holiday as our teenagers also had lots of fun.
