Casa Ilusion is the most beautiful beachside villa on the north end of Sayulita. Come relax in our serene indoor / outdoor palapa poolside living. Bring another friend or 2 – we’ve added another bedroom suite plus a tv/games/kids' room. Now, even more perfect for families and friends!
Casa Ilusion is a unique, luxury private beachfront home. Located on just under an acre of land with towering palm trees and 120 feet of beachfront. Ideally located on the quiet north side beach, The villa is a short walk to the town center. No car is necessary – restaurants, cafes and lovely Sayulita shopping are within an easy 5 minute stroll.
As soon as you enter Casa Ilusion, you will see through the beautifully appointed main house to the professionally landscaped, tranquil grounds & spacious lawn lush with magnificent palms to the ocean beyond. Relax under a palapa, umbrella, or in a hammock by the ocean, with the sounds of the waves and the sea breeze. Carry your board 200 yards up the beach to surf the left or right, or walk down the beach to dinner.
Casa Ilusion’s main house and casita are ideal for 5 couples. The five spacious, air conditioned suites, each with an ocean view, offer the highest level of comfort with luxury Frette bedding on king beds, all complete with their own en suite bathrooms. The new separate TV/games room can be converted to 2 twin beds for accommodating 2 children (kids only please!). This room is next to our first floor bedroom and can be configured as a family suite as needed.
In addition to the main house comfortably sleeping 8 adults + 2 children itself, there is a beautiful beachfront Casita, just steps from the ocean, which comfortably sleeps 3 (King + Single bed). The Casita is air conditioned 600 square feet - a real "Honeymoon Casita" suite with full bath, and a beautiful, open palapa style ceiling.
In all, Casa Ilusion has beds for 10 adults and 3 children. We also can provide 2 cribs and highchairs.
The main living space comes equipped with all of the amenities you could need; flat screen HD TV & satellite cable & Wi-Fi connection is accessible throughout the house and the grounds. Please note that the wifi can not support multiple zoom meetings at once, but is fast enough for general surfing and email. Thank you.
Casa Ilusion features its own private beach area with palm trees situated atop a five-foot seawall so you can either lie in the sun at water's edge on the wide public beach, or find some shade to take a nap in a hammock on our own private beach frontage. This feature is unique to Casa Ilusion.
Daily Cleaning Service is included six days per week (not Sunday).
We are happy to assist you with arrangements for Airport Transportation, Private Chef, In-House Masseuse, Private Surf Lessons, Private Yoga & Salsa Lessons, Catamaran Tours, Golf Car rentals, Dinning Reservations and anything else you can think of!

Summary: I stayed at Casa Ilusión with six amazing women to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime. Victoria and Richard are the most incredible hosts—so thoughtful, generous, and welcoming. Their home is beyond words: a true sanctuary that instantly made us feel at peace. We never wanted to leave and are already dreaming about coming back.Waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning felt like a dream come true. The house is tucked back from the beach on a beautifully landscaped property that feels like a private paradise—serene, lush, and full of charm. And yet, it’s only a short, flat 8–10 minute walk into town, which made it easy to explore Sayulita when we wanted to.Right next door is the best spot in town for a sunset margarita, and the owners, Odet and Erick, would even take our orders over the property wall. It felt like a dream—pure magic.Theo, the house manager, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. From arranging airport transportation to organizing a catered welcome dinner, morning yoga, and a delicious brunch, he thought of everything. He even surprised me with a bottle of champagne and a birthday card—such a thoughtful touch.Casa Ilusión is a place I’ll never forget, and I’m so grateful for the memories made there. I can’t recommend it enough.

Summary: Would highly recommend staying at this absolutely stunning house! It is such a great location, right across from great cafes and restaurants and on the north side which is more quiet and secluded but still so close to town. The owners helped us when villa oso cancelled on us last minute and were extremely helpful and generous! They saved the day for our wedding and our friends loved staying here. We would love to come back!

Summary: A much needed family vacation from ages 1 to 62. Casa Ilusion was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of room for everybody. Can’t explain how amazing it is falling asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing into the beach. So close to downtown. We rented golf carts but we found ourselves walking to town just as much. This house had everything we needed and the Property Manager Theo was quick to respond to our questions. Fidalina kept the house spotless and the grounds and the pool looked pristine everyday. Highly recommend for a large family or a large group of friends. Loves loved loved

Summary: Casa Illusion is perfecto! Theo and the local team of daily gardener and housekeeper were so accommodating and kind. Casita is marvelous and was used often for massage. Location/gated seclusion and quiet street made it a lovely experience for our family. Had a terrific photo shot by an amazing local/international photographer. We loved every day here. Cheers!

Summary: I can’t rave enough about Casa Illusion! The house is beautiful with the most stunning ocean views. We could hear the waves every night as we fell asleep. The setup of the house is perfect for multiple families and/or friends. We have young littles (4,2,1) and the main floor room/family suite was so great for us. My kids loved being able to wake up and jump in the pool or walk right out to the beach. The location is fantastic! You are close enough to town to walk but also not right in the middle of everything which is great because it’s quieter/not as busy. The house is stocked with everything you can think of—all kitchen items, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and so much more. There wasn’t anything I felt we needed while we stayed there. Fidelina and Ybiz are great and do a fantastic job every day. We also had Zuli out to cook 3 meals for us and that was worth every penny (also pretty inexpensive). The lattes and avocado toast are excellent from Bonito across the street. Plenty of options close by for a drink or massage. We did rent a golf cart but didn’t use it very much due to the excellent location of the house. Theo the house manager is easy to chat with and super helpful with anything you need or any questions you may have. We would come back here in a heart beat! One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at and it was an awesome family vacation! Thank you Theo and crew!
