Summary: This is a dream-like property and villa. The views are unparalleled. There are unobstructed views of the Meditterranean from upstairs. The kitchen is stocked with all appliances, equipment, utensils etc. It is very quiet during the day and at night. At night, we could hear the the surf. The Granmontane is cooling and refreshing. It is safe area. It is possible to talk to the town core by foot - 600 meters. If you seek a retreat with breathtaking views, lots of room, a private salt water pool and much more, this is your oasis of comfort. We even went to Barcelona for the day. Bliss for 2 parents and an 11 year old child. Enjoy your stay.

Summary: The villa is lovely, however I feel I should mention a couple of small things. The pool no longer has the same view as depicted in the advert. A house has been built in front so the owners have planted in front of pool to mask the new property. The villa has lots of steps, it is over 3 floors and also steps to get to front entrance, these were ok for us but anyone with mobility problems would struggle, the steps are also tiled. It is also a little isolated where the villa is so a car is a must. Having said the above, we had a fab holiday, pool was lovely, villa very well equipped, beds mega comfy and owner was very helpful. The lovely bottles of wine was also a nice touch on arrival and departure

Summary: This house was an ideal winter getaway. High on the hill in Cerbere, the views are fantastic especially from the entire top floor and terraces. It's clean, modern, comfortable, and has all the supplies you need in the kitchen. There's even a wood-burning stove, and, a highlight for my husband, a sauna. If you walk to the village centre for supplies or the bakery rather than drive it is a good steep haul to walk back up the hill. We found some great trails nearby. Very comfortable beds. Great communication, great value. Thank you! We are keen to return!

Summary: Very nice stay in Cerbere, small village to discover somewhere btw Sea and Mountains... btw France and Spain ... peacefull & authentic The house is modern, nicely decorated- exceptionally clean and well located (a bit higher up in the village - with nice and quiet surroundings). Outstanding seaviews from bay windows and large terraces. All facilities available to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Super nice welcome and host very willing to help during our stay as well. We will probably return there !

Summary: We spent a fortnight in this lovely and incredibly well-equipped house in Cerbère. Everything was as described or better. In fact, we think the (modest) description sells the house short as it not only has a great pool but a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and dryer, wifi, a Weber grill, percolator, etc. Our children summarized the house best when they said it was like a home away from home. The fantastic view onto the Med never stopped to enchant us. The three bedrooms have fans which are useful because it can be quite warm at night. During our stay, we tried out different beaches, including Peyrefite beach, Plage de Cerbère and small coves in the vicinity. Most are quiet and not hard to access. Because of the pebbles, surf/beach shoes are advisable. We also went on day trips to Barcelona and other places on the Spanish side as Cerbère is right on the border. For those that dislike driving: There is a direct train from Portbou (Spanish side, 10 minutes by car) to Barcelona. On a practical note, we got our bread and croissants at the local boulangerie and did most of our grocery shopping at the small Casino store, both down in the village (which is about a 10 minute walk) or at the Carrefour market in Banyuls-sur-Mer (approx. 20 minutes by car). The deposit was returned within a week. In summary, we had an enjoyable holiday and would certainly consider coming back.
