Summary: I would like to provide some feedback regarding the service at reception. The staff member, Vrinda, did not extend a greeting upon arrival and spoke in a discourteous tone while asking for booking information. Additionally, her demeanor throughout the interaction came across as unwelcoming. I believe additional training in guest relations and hospitality would be beneficial to ensure a more positive experience for future guests.

Summary: Room was in the first floor and it had a king size bed. Room was pretty clean but the lobby smelled very moldy. Complementary tiny muffin breakfast is just sad. And they only accept check-in until 2am for some reason. Door lock looks clumsy but we were safe. Has water/beverage vending machine. I asked the front desk to clean the room while we were gone, but they didn’t. So I went to the front desk and asked for shampoo&towels. The dude who was speaking in his own language on the phone for hours each night, looked into some drawers with 3-second minimal effort, and then asked me, “uhh, can you come back tomorrow morning?” I got FURIOUS because of the moldy smell in the lobby, his inattentiveness for the past two days, and the nonsense he told me because I do NOT skip a night without taking a shower. Keeping myself clean matters A LOT. And besides, who in the RIGHT MIND that works at the front desk of a hotel or Inn says THAT??? So I responded in an irritated elevated tone, “NO!!!” And guess what? He gave me multiple shampoos right away. Why did he even ask me to wait until the next morning? Trying to make me sleep filthy?? It was a nice discounted option and the parking lot seemed ok although there were weed-smoking people right next to my car. They were smoking weed for like 3 hours— when we arrived, and when we came back out in 3 hours to get something from the car. I didn’t like how they were smoking right next to my car so we parked in a different spot the next day.

Summary: In a cellular deadzone to start off because it’s in a low area kind of ravine (which is flood prone during heavy showers). Both laundry facilities were ‘temporarily closed for service’ even though I checked the rooms were unlocked and units works, they apparently don’t want guests doing laundry. Top it off every outlet in our room was loose to the point I just used the battery pack I packed with us. The beds have sheets for comforters (yes they don’t have blankets on the beds). The pool was closed in July 2025, not sure why and the breakfast may as well not be listed (coffee and mini-muffins), so bring your own food (oh yea, no microwave in room either). It’s about a 30 minute walk to get to the GWB plaza station but be prepared to hike to start your day to get into NY. Uber pickup and drop-off is somewhat convoluted because of the design of the highway with no crossing nearby. This is probably the best you will find for <200$/night this close to NYC so that is a plus and for the age of the property it seemed relatively maintained and clean. We did find a freaking chicken nugget and kids garment left behind from the previous guests in our drawers if that is any indication of the housekeeping I was being generous on the cleaning!!! WiFi was decent for browsing but seems to drop session every hour so keep logging into the captive portal.
