Summary: I'd recently hurt my foot, and I was using a knee scooter to get around. This property was perfect as it did not have stairs and carpet that hindered my ability to move around. It was such a cute placed and reminded me of my great aunt with whom I often spent time at her house. We'd love to stay here again.

Summary: This house is roomy, comfy & perfect for our needs. There is no dishwasher which is no big deal to me & it provides a washer & dryer & wonderful front & back porches. Price was awesome & I definitely would use again. The bathroom toilet was somwhat dirty & cleanliness could use a little work but, all in all, no major complaints.

Summary: The cottage was definitely comfortable and suited our stay. I would suggest a porch light to be on for late arrivals as you can not see the house or address at night when riding by.

Summary: The Misty Mountain Cottage is a cozy/comfortable launching pad for adventure in and around Clintwood and the surrounding area. The cottage has character that is well-maintained by the owner who does a great job providing all the information you might need for your visit and making easy to get in and out. It's like your own mountain cabin in the Appalachians!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. More kitchen utensils than any of the 10+ vacation homes/cabins we’ve stayed at. The super kind hostess even left a welcome basket of snacks, perfect after a long drive. Plenty of linens, pillows, perfect temperature. A variety of comfortable seating for different needs (I have a bad back so a comfy chair is hard to find). There was even a huge variety of toiletries in case you left something behind. Great stay with a good price. Hope to be back soon.

Summary: Very nice little getaway. Cute little cozy cottage. Very clean, fully stocked with anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
