Clay Springs Cabins is located in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona near Show Low. The private three bedroom and two bath accommodations are perfect for a weekend getaway or extended stay. Each room has a luxurious and plush custom built bed—one king size and two queen size beds. The master bathroom has a spacious shower while a guest shower is located next to the two queen guest rooms. The accommodations can handle a couple who needs a quiet getaway or a house full of guests.
Prepare the perfect feast in the full kitchen or dine in the nearby towns of Show Low and Heber. Our refrigerator is stocked with a few treats for your arrival. Plates, cups, and utensils means you don’t have to bring anything with you. The dishwasher makes cleaning up a snap. Don’t want to cook inside; use the outdoor grill.
The bear lodge area is a great place to share stories or listen to the crackle of a fire. Each winter we stack wood on the easy access deck. We also provide a large television if you'd like to catch up on the latest shows. Even in the mountains, we have Wifi if you need it. Our bear-skin rug creates a living area you can enjoy with friends and family.
Our cleaning services makes sure your rooms are spotless. The storage room has a washer and dryer if you need to freshen up your clothes during your stay.
Adjoining the cabin is a well-kept, working farm with a greenhouse, chickens, and pigs. Pick a few fresh items from our garden and fry up some bacon and eggs every morning. Brew some hot coffee and enjoy the cool mountain mornings in our rocking chairs on the front or back decks.
You can quietly relax as you take in the peaceful surroundings or use it as a home-base for other excursions—hunting, fishing, ATV rides, horseback riding, skiing, or hiking. For recreation, we can provide an ATV or boat if you'd like to experience world-class trails and fishing in the mountains. Summary: Went to this cabin two years ago for a birthday celebration get away and then we did it again this year and had just as much fun! We love this place and we love Craig, definitely going to make it a tradition!

Summary: We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was a cute quiet place with a great porch and grass lawn that made it great for just relaxing. Just what we needed. Super clean and well kept.

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was great to see our kids reaction to everything... The bear skin rug, the animal heads, and the pigs! There were no major issues, a few disappointments, but we really appreciated the communications with Craig prior to our stay. Pros: fire pit with gazebo, pigs, washing machine, clean house, dark clear skies, quiet neighborhood, proximity to forests Cons: no hot tub on property, no chickens, decimated garden, no treats in the fridge, no dishwasher The reason for the cons, was the listing advertisement. It would have been nice to have seen and read updated pictures and verbage that reflected the accuracy of the property. However, our family was happy with the stay overall, and we even got to experience the surprise birth of some pigs.

Summary: This house was the perfect getaway to beat the heat for the weekend. The host was great very responsive. The house is on a small pig farm so if you want to be a farmer the host will let you take care of them during your stay. We will definitely be back some day!

Summary: With the exception of the unseasonably hot weather, our stay was wonderful. Wish we had air conditioning in the bedrooms, only a window until in the main living area. Otherwise we loved the place. Craig was welcoming, the pigs a joy and relaxing was in store for all. Thank you, Craig! Loved the log beds!!

Summary: Upon arrival we were skeptical due to distance from show low and surrounding properties. Once arrived we instantly got the “homey” feeling. Very beautiful inside and out beds extremely comfortable and the wood work and tile is exceptional (I’m a setter of tile) Craig was here to greet us and is a wonderful host and person. Anything you need he will make it happen. The pigs were great the kids loved them. We took the option to feed them and water them while here. We also watered the green house which had fresh tomatoes squash and peppers! We will for sure stay again if available. He also does guided hunts and fishing trips which we will do next time. Aside from the spa everything else was spot on with the discription. Recommend the property fully!

Summary: This was one of the most fun weekends i’ve had. My friends and I had to find a cabin up in show low last minute because our camping plans got ruined due to monsoon season. We were a little late on check out time, and that was not a problem. We were greeted by the two cleaners right when we got to the cabin, and they were so welcoming. They gave us a tour of the little cabin, and one of the cleaners (Lily) stopped me to say that no matter what mess we leave, don’t stress about cleaning because that is their job. I met the owner Craig shortly after we started unpacking, and he was one of the kindest hosts i have met in my time renting our vacation homes. Despite our complete different personalities, he was so kind and could tell he is very passionate about having this vacation home to rent out to people. Once night hit, the outside was so beautiful and the home had a nice front and back patio to enjoy the weather. The next morning, we went to town for some groceries which wasn’t that far away from where we were staying. On the morning of check out, Craig was catering to some farming/house needs while we all finished packing. Check out was at 11am, but Craig told us to take our time which was amazing because we definitely needed it. While everyone else was finishing packing, Craig held a nice conversation with a friend and I for a while. Such a nice man, such a nice cabin, such a nice get away overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to get away for the weekend! Thank you Craig, we hope to see you again!

Summary: In choosing the property it came down to three cabins in the area. We choose this particular cabin because we really could vision ourselves relaxing every evening in the hot tub with a cold beverage. Upon arriving we were told the hot tub had been taken out for repairs. Really took the wind out of our sails!
