Pitch & Putt, horse riding and water sports available locally. Wonderful seafood restaurants within easy reach. World-famous limestone region of the Burren just 10 minutes by car, also Cliffs of Moher a mere 4 miles away. Ideal countryside for hiking, cycling, nature walks or painting. Enjoy a pint while listening to traditional Irish music in any one of a dozen well-run pubs in Lahinch, Liscannor, Fanore or Ballyvaughan. Rent a boat in Liscannor for some sea-fishing off the Aran Islands.
We do not rent between November and April as we use the house ourselves at week-ends and holiday periods

Summary: Excellent immaculate house appreciated the extra household bits & pieces like dish & laundry detergent & foil etc .Lovely, quiet area v near to Lahinch .

Summary: Very nice house, in a great location and close to lots of the North Clare attractions. Jimmy was very helpful to deal with too before and during our stay. Would definitely look to book the house again at some stage in the future.

Summary: The host "Jimmy" was a great communicator and accommodated all our needs. The house is in a great location making it very easy to access the beach at Lahinch as well as many local attractions such as Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, and Doolin Cave! Easy access to many excellent restaurants and shops, we will definitely be back soon! The views from the house located up on a hill we're fantastic with one side viewing the Ocean and the other farmland! We Highly recommend this property! Jay & Bonnie K

Summary: We were a party of over 60's. Beautiful views, great location, although you do need a car as it was not safe to go walking from here. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Jimmy.

Summary: Wonderful host. Very available, helpful and understanding. The house is great. Very spacious and clean. Unlike what was written on the VRBO website description, the house DOES have Wifi....YAY!! The only issue we had was that the toilets didn't flush very well but the host said that he was going to call a plumber to deal with the issue. Note that the house is out in the countryside and that the roads to get to the closest town are really very narrow. We had some difficulty manoeuvering them, especially at first. My girls loved the fact that the next-door neighbours had beautiful horses that would always come out to greet us every time we stepped out of the house! Overall we were very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Summary: It was a lovely house with great facilities but too remote Near a very busy road and not safe for running/ walking The weather was beyond awful with rain & cold winds most days but luckily there was a gas fire to keep us warm Would not return

Summary: I've rented several properties through VRBO, and most have been very good, but this was the best by far. Partly that's because it was Ireland, but mostly it's because the owners, Jimmy and Margaret, are so warm and helpful. The house itself is lovely: immaculate, well-stocked, and up-to-date with a beautiful view. Its location is outstanding-on a quiet country road only a short distance away from the Cliffs of Moher. It was an excellent base of operations for our five-night stay! I can't say enough about the kindness of the owners and how welcome they made us feel. We hope to return some day!

Summary: My family spent 5 idyllic days here. The house is absolutely gorgeous with unbelievable views in every direction. You have everything you need right at your fingertips and you are very close to everything Liscannor, Lahinch and Doolin have to offer. Book this house! You won’t be disappointed. I hope to visit again one day.
