Come and relax at this exquisite waterfront vacation retreat on the shores of Honey Creek, considered to be a very desirable main channel location on Grand Lake. This VRBO is a private guest accommodation including a separate entrance from the main entrance to the home and use of the grounds. The lake offers so many activities for you to enjoy, swimming off the dock, boating, fishing, lawn games or just watching sunrise or sunsets from the deck or fire pit. A lift for V-hulled boats is available at no extra cost to guests. The town of Grove is a short 3-mile drive away to meet your shopping needs for a relaxing vacation. Dogs approved to stay on individual basis.
This private accommodation occupies the ground level of a large private home on Grand lake. Owners live on property and are readily available for guest assistance. The VRBO occupies approximately 1300 square feet. The majority dedicated to living spaces and a large bunk area. This includes private entrance and access to deck and fenced backyard with additional features listed in description. Features include a large main living room and dining area. Master bedroom located off main living area for quiet relaxation separated from the bunk area. Complete with built-in dresser so you can settle in and put the suitcases away. Secondary living space with full kitchen and bunks is a 1950’s retro style space that will thrill the kids. The rental provides sleeping accommodations for 10 guests total. Ice cream parlor bar stools for sitting at the counter to enjoy snacks or ice-cream sundaes. A large TV in both living areas with WIFI, ROKU and DVD player with a selection of movies available for viewing enjoyment after a long day at the lakefront. A convenient beverage and snack bar located near dining area for your use, stocked with a variety of snacks and Keurig for your coffee enjoyment. Board games for kids and adults supplied and additional children’s activities for quiet times at the end of a busy lake day. Bathroom completely remodeled including oversize standard tub and bathing supplies included, washer and dryer with laundry soap provided for your needs.
Large fire pit stocked with firewood and seating for your exclusive use during your stay to enjoy the sunsets or roasting marshmallows. BBQ ready for a summer grilling for vacation dining available. Lawn games for family time together, and water mat available for your use. Privately owned dock is just past large lawn area accessible from your deck. Beautiful water fall feature makes the backyard a complete retreat for you and your loved ones. The lake is calling you!!!
The town of Grove has additional shopping and dining opportunities and Patricia Island and Shangri-La resorts on Monkey Island have golf courses reachable by either car or boat. Parasailing for the thrill seeker is locally available. Marina’s on the lake feature easy fill-up for gas and mini stores for items needed for boating. Summary: Absolutely awesome! Adorable, spacious bunk room with 1950’s style retro Diner/Ice Cream Parlor. It was perfect for our sleepover birthday party! The tranquil backyard has stunning views of the lake, a large fire pit, and a porch that’s perfect for coffee and sunsets. The dock is fully functional and has a remote lift. We had a wonderful family vacation at the lake! We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: This was a great weekend stay for a lake trip! We had tons of fun and loved swimming off the dock. The hosts were great and very helpful. The space was plenty big for the ten of us!

Summary: Stay at this property over 4th of July weekend with a few family and friends. Directions provided do not lead directly to the house however the directions given by the property manager was very helpful! The space was very clean and stocked with things needed for the weekend. The bunk room was perfect for sleeping a lot of people! (especially children!) Only down side was the kitchen is in the same room as the bunks and making breakfast in the morning would wake most everybody up each morning. However there is a Keurig in the main living space, made for sitting on the porch with coffee without waking anybody else up each morning a breeze (with a beautiful and relaxing view!) . The kitchen was a little small, but got the job done for making meals throughout the day, as long as not many people were trying to help all at once. There were many games provided (cornhole, board games, cards) as well as the floating water carpet available for our use. The property managers were very helpful with any accommodations we needed such as additional parking during our stay. There is a 3 slip dock available to use as well. The property managers have a boat and jet ski but there is still plenty of room to sit and hang out on the dock throughout the day. The dock sits right off of the main part of the lake so throughout the day it was very rough on the dock with the wake from boats constantly coming in (may not be as bad on a non-holiday weekend due to the number of boats on the water). Overall we had a great trip! We were able to relax with family and friends over the holiday weekend. We were also able to catch the firework show from Shangri-La by sitting down on the dock, and had a perfect view! I would defiantly come back to this lake house! Highly recommend.

Summary: As “seasoned” VRBOers, we’ve stayed several different places over the years and this is one of the top, for sure! Hosts are VERY nice, the house was clean, centrally located and roomy. Kids loved the water mat and kayak. The retro decor is a sweet treat and the board games were also a hit! Would definitely stay here again.
