Summary: My daughter and I were in the area for a concert, and we needed a hotel that had a kitchenette. The price for the weekend was within our budget. However, I would have gladly paid more for a clean place to stay. The carpets were filthy. Our feet were black after walking across it a few times. There was gum stuck on the lighting fixture next to the bed. There was a 1" gap in the window that I had to fill with paper towels to keep some of the heat/humidity out of the room. There was sticky/stained spots on the cabinets, walls, and appliances. The bathroom had black hairs on the walls, counters, and in the bathtub. The tv didn't work very well and only got local channels. There were dirty lines and clothes in the drawer of the bureau. I think the only clean (albeit stained) thing in the room were the linens.

Summary: Staff had children messing around at check in, professionalism of staff could be better, but overall they were nice. There was hair on the floor in the kitchen, floor was sticky.

Summary: This hotel is in need of attention. It is dingy and dirty. Smelled of smoke. Several students reported bugs. It was a painful stay for our school. The help was really nice and helpful.

Summary: Upon arrival at 4:30, the gentleman check us in and then disappeared, we waited for like 15mins until another gentleman went to go look. Came back and finished the check in. Rooms ok, furniture was outdated, bathroom wasn't cleaned enough, hair behind faucet and toilet, old bar of soap in top corner of shower on little ledge. Breakfast, if you wanna call it that, nothing was available Sunday morning around 8:30, Monday had just coffee and couple breakfast bars. Nothing really to drink for kids.

Summary: The check in was very friendly and courteous. Amenities seemed a bit limited, I asked about a crib for my child but they didn't have any. Ultimately chose this place because of cost and location near to a function I attended. The large fridge and stove top would be beneficial for longer stay.

Summary: My recent stay (May 17-18) at Extended Stay America Suites Indianapolis Castleton was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I traveled with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. It started when we walked into our assigned room, Room 224. The smell of cigarette smoke was over powering. There’s no way we could have stayed in that room overnight without all of our belongings smelling of smoke as well. We immediately turned around to go ask about switching rooms. David, the front desk attendant was on the 2nd floor and I inquired if it was possible we had been given a smoking room. He informed me that all rooms are nonsmoking. When I explained the condition of our room and asked if we could switch, he said he would see what he could do, as the hotel was close to full for the night.  We went back downstairs and he moved us to 317. He accompanied us to make sure the room was satisfactory. Room 317, at first sight was much better as there was no smell of cigaratte smoke. This is where things really went downhill.  The countertop was covered in a sticky substance, but being a mom, I didn’t mind to wipe it down with a wet cloth.  After leaving briefly to get some food, we returned to the room and I pulled back the covers to the bed nearest the bathroom. It was quite obvious the sheets on the bed had not been changed. It was covered in what seemed to possibly be crumbs. So I checked the other bed, and it had obvious hair in it. (Pictures included). At this I went back downstairs
