Located in Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort, our cabin features over 2,800 square feet of woodland luxury wedged only minutes between the breathtaking trails and waterfalls of Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks.
Accommodating up to 8 people, our building is tucked away on a private cul-de-sac backing to wildlife preservation. The kitchen is very well-stocked, making at-home meals a breeze. If you're looking for extras like upgraded showerheads and water that never runs cold, we hope you'll enjoy discovering all of our other little bells and whistles that we hope will make your stay exceptional.
Waterpark passes are not included with this unit.

Summary: We had a family stay together parents, adult children and young grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all of us. The condo was clean and comfortable. Its proximity to state parks made daytime activities convenient and fun.

Summary: My family had a great time in this spacious cabin! It is located less than 1/2 mile from Starved Rock State Park so we hiked different trails everyday. Susan responded quickly to my inquiry about suitable pots and pans for our Thanksgiving feast. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a great time at Susan's place! We had a group of 9 adults staying for a birthday celebration. The place is huge and plenty of bathrooms and showers for all. True to other reviews, it is a little tricky to initially find the cabin (if you see letter cabins, you took a wrong turn!), but it's not confusing after the first time. Very short drive to all the nearby state parks, beautiful setting, plenty of cookware. A+

Summary: So a dozen old codgers, mostly suburbanites and city, with one intelligent couple from rural lands (/s) went to a cabin to celebrate turning 60. Could not have chosen a better place (purely by chance as the first thought was the Dells). Close enough to get there in 90, while feeling like a different place entirely. We loved every moment, from the beauty, spaciousness of the cabin and surrounding woods, to the available modern conveniences. Great sound control quality. Plentiful nearby activities. We are now thinking of the different events to come that will allow us to make use of the facility again. *** One note, getting there is a 'bear' .... online maps misdirect base on the address (wrong cul de sac). [Easier to state: turn left in the Resort lot, take 1st left past Enchanted forest. Follow the winding road, over wooden bridge, to the end of the small cabins and then you're there]. We expect to return .... soon.

Summary: It was difficult to find the cabin at first because they aren’t labeled great but once we found it the place was great! It was such a nice relaxing girls weekend with my cousins and the owner is so nice and easy to work with.

Summary: 6 adults and 4 children (6 & under) had a great time! The house is nicely stocked with kitchenware, toiletries, and lots of extra pillows and blankets. We did have a slight issue with a wasp's/bee's nest inside the upstairs window screen. However, Susan responded within minutes of my message and Mike (maintenance) was at the house 2 hours later, resolving the issue. A small item, the dining room chairs could use a cushion.... they are beautifully wood themed but not too comfortable for an extended period.
