Positive: location, owners are nice people.
Negative: Noisy, no elevator, sharp stairs, waking up to laud street fights at least three times around 2am, smell of sewer filling the room after 2nd day. After all this is a very old building not meant for a hotel. It has been painted and worked on, however these are very small unitts with beds good for no more than one person. Kitchenette is not an actual kitchen, no stove. If you are in back units then you have to look at old rusty windows, no veiw. Good for one night only.

Positive: We arrived earlier than planned and asked to leave our bags and check in later, but the lovely staff offered to check us in to our room. The room was big, comfortable and right in the shopping district. We would happily stay here next time in Istanbul.
Negative: Absolutely nothing.

Positive: Staff took great pride in their accommodation and were very quick to address and fix a minor concern we had.
Negative: As mentioned in other reviews it can get a bit loud in the evening from the street noise, we did not mind but some early/light sleepers might be bothered.

Positive: When we arrived, the electrical power went out on the whole street, but we were able to leave our things, and come back few hours later to check in. The owner of the place is very nice and welcoming. The food served in the restaurant was incredibly delicious. The location is good, in Kadikoy. The owner borrowed us a wine opener upon request.
Negative: The room was on a higher floor. There is no elevator in the building. We had to climb a lot of stairs fairly narrow stairs to get to our room. The hotel could be a bit closer to the ferry station.

Positive: Owners of the property are very helpful and accommodative. They help you with whatever your issues. Even without paying the advance, they extended our stay for 24 hours prior to the arrival. I strongly recommend.
Negative: Everything staff, owners, rooms and cleanliness. You can fell the warmth of the care they provide.

Positive: I want to express my deep gratitude to the hospitality of the owners of this hotel. I stayed for a few days in September 2024. Very friendly hotel owners, delicious hotel cuisine and convenient location. I am very glad that I chose this place for my holiday in Istanbul! 😍👍🌞
Negative: A bit noisy because the hotel is very close to the street, but for me that was not a problem. It was even interesting to feel the local flavor of the city
