Mountain comfort and modern sensibility come together in this beautiful, thoughtfully designed residence, located on Telluride’s east end, less than 1.5 miles from downtown. Sitting high above town with perfect views from every window, you can’t help but take in Ingram Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Mt. Ajax and hear the San Miguel River rushing below. The expansive views can be enjoyed all year round with the abundant use of glass and 2000+ sq. ft. of porch that wraps around the entire home. Utilizing reclaimed wood from an 1800’s Seattle factory and cabinet grade cherry for the flooring, the home is replete with light and the golden hue of custom made fir wainscoting. With an open floor plan, 25 foot ceilings and a massive stone fireplace, the home is spacious, comfortable and warm. Invite your family and friends to prepare meals together in the oversized kitchen and take advantage of both a gas and charcoal grill right off the kitchen deck to help with meal preparation. And when it’s time to wine and dine, set the table for 12 at the dining table and 6 at the kitchen table-there is plenty of room for everyone.
When you are not skiing, hiking, snowboarding, cycling, going to a festival or taking a yoga class, relax in the main floor second family room with a big screen TV and wet bar and send the kids downstairs to the rec room to run around and play games. And, if you really need some Zen time, roll out your mat in the circular perch room and practice your meditation and poses to soft music piped through the house wide audio system.
Five bedrooms make the sleeping accommodations easy for a group. The master suite features a king bed facing a grove of aspens, an en suite bathroom with marble shower, large soaking tub, his and her double sinks, walk in closet, office and sitting area, and a balcony for taking in the stunning sunrises and incredible night skies. The second bedroom on the upper level features bunk beds and the third bedroom has a queen. These two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with double sinks. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed, an en suite bathroom, two sitting areas, large closet and private access to the outside. The fifth bedroom, located on the lower level, features a queen bed, walk in closet, an en suite bathroom and access to the outside through French doors.
To handle your large group, the home also features a two car garage, additional parking for four more vehicles and a storage area for your extra gear. Bikes, sleds and tubes are available for your use.
This extremely private residence perfectly balances privacy with proximity to downtown Telluride. This residence has become a favorite with past families, with each one coming back for multiple stays.
**We welcome events at the house, 75 guest max. There is an event fee based on number of guests. Inquire to learn more.
** With the exception of the summer months, we highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Telluride weather is unpredictable and the winter conditions can be extreme, so we encourage you to be safe and rent/drive a 4-wheel vehicle.

Summary: Stunning views. We had our wedding here and comfortably fit 50 guests. It was a beautiful night and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Property manager was very easy to get ahold of, helped us every step of the way and made it a breeze

Summary: We awed by the beauty of this home, there five couples and it worked out perfectly for us. One suggestion, and I know it may deter from the look of the home but adding hand rails to the opposite side of each staircase wound be a great safety addition. I would definetly recommend this home to everyone.

Summary: We had our wedding at the house over President’s Day weekend. I cannot say enough about the house and the spectacular views. Truly amazing. The photos do not do it justice. We had a wedding in the house with only 10 people, an officiant, and a photographer. We could not have asked for a better venue for our small and intimate wedding. We loved every minute of our stay.

Summary: We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful home in Telluride. The views are stunning from every window. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The owner, Heidi, and the house manager, Bretley, promptly answered all my questions. We came in October, and the weather was perfect, fall leaves amazing. Hope we can come back sometime.
