Overlooking the Long Island Sound, in Wading River New York, Camp DeWolfe’s 19-acre beachfront property is open 12 months of the year for everyone. This cabin is centrally located on the camp property, and has direct access to the main parking lot/ basketball courts. The cabin has a main living/ sleeping area that accommodates up to 10 guests in bunk beds with Tempur Pedic mattresses. Cabins have a 1/2 bathroom, and access to a shared shower facility. The main living space has a dining room table, chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. Guests can enjoy local hiking trails, direct access to the LI Sound, and even book other buildings on site, (subject to availability).
**Guests must bring own linens. Suggested: sheets (12inch Twin XL), blankets, pillows, towels.
During your stay no camp programming will be conducted. All rental properties are kept private, and you are welcome to participate in activities that are provided free of charge. Other buildings on site may also be rented during your stay, however all buildings are separate from other another, and in different areas of the facility. We are confident that you will enjoy your stay at Camp DeWolfe and enjoy the grounds and access to the LI Sound.
Cabin rentals have access to a shared shower house that is utilized by guests in other cabin accommodations.
Kayaking and Canoeing are offered to guests from May 1st- September 31st
Bike Rental and Archery are offered year round if scheduled in advance of arrival, subject to weather conditions.

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about our stay or about the staff and communication. Matt was attentive and always available. When he wasn't around the other staff members were equally amenable. It was a nice getaway for the entire family. We canoed, did a ropes course, biked, swam...the list goes on. My friends visited us there with a family day pass and were equally as impressed. We used the fire pit, but be aware there is no kitchen or place to process the food. Bring your own utensils and meats etc...already prepared and ready to go. Also, there were numerous tick sitings, so bring bug spray with a lot of deet.

Summary: We had such a great time thanks to Matt and Sam. The cabin was spacious and big enough for 6 adults to sleep comfortably. Mattresses were comfy and ac worked well. The campus grounds are gorgeous. We went kayaking one day, used the field, did archery, and rented the mountain bikes. Highly recommend the stay for family or a group of friends!
