Summary: This property has a large open living/dining/kitchen area that is great for group holidays. It also has a fenced private yard and 2 driveways for parking. The host was super accommodating and had left treats for the dogs and wine and fruit for us! :)

Summary: My husband and I and our pup stayed for 28 days in this charming little house in an equally charming town. The house was fully equipped, meeting all our needs during our stay. Groceries and other essentials were just a short walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt very safe. The gardens were beautiful and the flowers were outstanding. We enjoyed walking around the area as well as traveling to nearby towns and walking trails. Kitty was the perfect hostess. Our one complaint is that the wifi was a bit "flaky". I'm really not sure if there is anything that can be done, and it didn't interfere with streaming TV or doing some computer work. We hope to return one day soon.

Summary: The property was perfect for our long weekend - three adults and two teen kids. It was very comfortable, well equipped and totally charming. Our host was also extremely welcoming and caring with her messages and information packs. The real revelation was Chemainus itself. We've driven down the Island Highway from Nanaimo to Duncan and beyond, and it gives a pretty poor impression of what exists just a few km off the beaten track. We had a fantastic hike, up the Cowichan Valley trail alongside the rail tracks to Stocking Creek with its spring flowers and waterfalls. We had some lovely wanders around the streets with its heritage homes, beautiful gardens and of course the murals. And of course the ocean and the views of the islands and channels are just stunning.

Summary: The house quickly felt like a home - comfortable living room with books, puzzles and games for a rainy day, a well-designed kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. We really appreciated the special touches - a lovely bottle of local wine & fresh fruit welcomed us. The location was also perfect - a short walk to all the Chemainus sights, and a short drive to many out-of-town activities. Thank you Kitty!

Summary: I had a Wonderful two weeks. The house is definitely a home away from home. Comfortable, clean and cozy. Comfortable beds…. Excellent location with a seasonal off leash dog park on the beach two blocks away. The yard is beautiful and peaceful. Kitty the host is very helpful.and accommodating…. Will definitely go again…
