Our beach home features four bedrooms and one and a half baths. The first floor was recently renovated and includes an open floor plan. There is an enclosed porch and off the back of the house, a two-level deck with a retractable awning, private enclosed back yard, outdoor shower and plenty of parking in the driveway or on the street. It's an easy walk to the beach, and the NJ Coast Train. It has central A/C and the updated kitchen includes dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.
There are 2 BRs on the first floor, featuring a King in one room and Queen bed in the other. The two upstairs BRs are furnished with bunk beds. One BR has a set of bunk beds; the other features a “pyramid” bunk bed with a double below and twin on top.

Summary: 4 Adults & our 3 teens + dog had a fun & relaxing time at this rental . Yard was a big plus! Location to beach - fantastic ! And what a beautiful beach - quite , clean & peaceful. The house was a perfect size for us . Well equipped kitchen & dining area was ideal for our meals . Mollie was a great host & answered all my questions immediately. Overall , an excellent week at the beach !

Summary: House fit 9 of us well. Host was accommodating and met us to give us a personalized tour. Gait needed to be fixed and was difficult to open and close to get cars in driveway. Outdoor shower lacked privacy as house next door could see in. House close to train and woke up a few nights due to the noise. House could use more storage space in the kitchen. Outdoor TV not present as listed and outdoor furniture dirty and 2 chairs unusable. Lugged beach chairs down and garage had 5-6 chairs to use. Rec listing for future users. Having towels and bedding was a definite plus as well as washer and dryer and good air conditioning. Front porch was enjoyed and kids did a puzzle that was in home. Overall had a great stay.

Summary: The home was exactly as listed. Our family plus our furbaby enjoyed the week. Short walk to beach, walking distance to restaurants and crabbed at the lake (1st day caught 6 crabs enough to add to our seafood dinner). The kitchen had everything we needed even some of the small items we forgot. Mollie was a wonderful host and quickly responded to any questions I had when we first arrived. And stopped over to help me with a small issue we had in the uostairs bathroom.

Summary: It was our first time staying in Bay Head and we will definitely be back! The house location is perfect… a short walk to the beach and beautiful Twilight Lake (do not miss the sunsets)! We also walked to the Point Pleasant boardwalk a few times which took 25 minutes. We went crabbing in the lake with drop lines and a cage (provided by the owners) and caught a bakers dozen of nice size Blue Claws! Don’t miss Mueller’s Bakery and the Dune Grass Cafe for breakfast and ice cream…it’s a short walk to both. We took a ride to Seaside Heights a couple times too (9 miles away). We were 3 families for 2 weeks, 9 of us total and everyone was comfortable. We made the kids (24, 17, 15) sleep upstairs because the steps are kinda steep so if you have an older parent staying with you keep that in mind. We LOVED the front porch for the breezes and the back deck for coffee and family time. The backyard was great for our two pups as well! We didn’t use the outside shower during our stay because we just showered on different schedules. We did use the grill a couple of times for dinner and it worked perfectly. There were 2 older bikes in the garage that the men and boys used to go sight seeing as well. Mollie was very responsive to all our questions and even provided an additional window unit AC for the upstairs bedroom so my elderly father could sleep comfortably. There is a train stop close to the house so you will hear whistles! I use ear plugs at night so they didn’t bother me at all LOL

Summary: From being warmly greeted by Mollie (the hospitable owner) upon our arrival to the very end of the week, our stay on Osborne Ave. was wonderful. The house was a great location within a short walking distance to Osborne Ave Beach and close to Twilight Lake & town. Plenty of space and comfort for our family of four and golden retriever (who loved the backyard). Great amenities: a/c, washer/dryer, wifi, firepit, outdoor shower, and a few bikes to use, etc. We really appreciated Mollie's hospitality, guidance and generosity (she left us an infamous Bay Head treat one day - so nice). It was really hard to leave after an amazing week in Bay Head and the house really helped to make it a special vacation.

Summary: We had a great visit to Bay Head! Mollie was great - responsive, flexible, and very helpful. Overall, the house was perfect for my family’s needs — a short walk to the beach with our two little kids, a space to play outside and enough living space for all. Keep in mind that if you have a little one, there’s no bathtub — we managed anyways! A few things in the house could use some updating, like the string lights outside are all burnt out so there’s not much light on the deck at night, and the shower door in the bathroom was broken. The train station is also right there, which can be a bit noisy, but after the first night, we got used to it and it wasn’t a problem for us at all. Overall, we had a lovely visit!

Summary: Our first time staying in Bay Head, NJ and at the Osborne Avenue bungalow. We were located one and one-half blocks from the Osborne beach access. The area is beautiful, the people are very friendly and restaurants were delicious. We will come back!

Summary: First impressions are usually spot on, and we were pleased from the minute we walked in. Had a chance to meet Mollie who was still busy with last minute changeovers. Wonderful place, clean and functional. It accommodated our expanding and contracting group of 5-8 all week very comfortably. The kitchen, while small, was a big hit with open architecture and high end appliances. The main feature was the back yard with deck, yard and driveway pavers. The fully fenced yard is much larger than the listing would indicate, great for young ones and dogs. As with any rental, there were a few smaller issues that were addressed with Mollie which I'm sure she corrected. Be aware of the proximity of the train station if you are a light sleeper, but manageable for us with a sound machine. Beach was a very quick walk or bike along Osborne, with manicured lawns and beautiful gardens. Was concerned about traffic, but found the street to be only lightly used. Beach was a 10/10 with terrific weather to make it a memorable week in Bay Head.

Summary: We loved being a short walk or bike ride from the beach! Beautiful updated beachy decor on the 1st floor - great space for hanging out altogether in the kitchen and living room and sun porch AND back porch with awning! Private back yard/porch area! Kitchen more than sufficient to make meals including crab cakes from crabs we caught. Handy to have 3 beach bikes available to us too. Would stay here again!! Mollie was quick to answer any questions!
