A beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath, bonus room that sleeps 10 people. Large family room (14x25) includes a fireplace for the Fall evenings. Kitchen fully furnished. Queen bedroom with its own shower, a bonus room with a sofa sleeper, upstairs a queen log bed, a set of log bunk beds, and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. A covered front porch & a newly built deck (12x16) that overlooks woods. Plenty of room to park your vehicle & trailer. Minutes from the local store, which rents tubes to jet skis. Also, minutes from Dale Hollow State Park Marina, which provides free boat launching. Boat slips available upon request & extra fee. The park has caves, golf course, putt putt, fishing, boating, hiking & horseback riding trails ( horses not provided).

Summary: Great location, close to DHLState park. Plenty of rooms and washer and dryer a plus. The updates that have been made are nice. I had to give a poor rating because when you enter the house it smelled extremely musty and did the entire stay. We also found mouse poop on sheets and comforters of every bed so we spent the first night washing everything! Also would have liked to use the grill but no lighter fluid and the grate on the gas grill was very rusty and dirty . It will be a long time before I trust renting a VRBO again.

Summary: Overall the house was decent and we did find mouse droppings in window seals and kitchen and in drawer of stove in kitchen. Photos on VRBO need kitchen and dining area appear larger than they actually are. Overall enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

Summary: The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. It is close to the state park and if you are taking a boat. There is plenty of space to park the trailer. Every morning we would see a deer and some other wildlife in the backyard.

Summary: We were pleased with this property. The house was clean and well represented. The owner takes great care of this property and it shows. It is close to the road, so make sure you watch the kiddos or have them.play I'm the HUGE back yard. The kitchen is small but that is to be expected in a home this size. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware....everything was in working order. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time & experience here with friends! The kids enjoyed exploring the land around the property! Thankful we could find a place that welcomed our pups too! The house was stocked with all necessities too! Near the lake and plenty of room for our friends to park their boat in the driveway. It was a chilly Memorial Day weekend and I didn’t see a fire ring so I sent him a text & he provided one right away! Thank you for the outstanding hospitality Cliff! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Summary: We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay and was pleased with the big back yard for the kids to play in. The house had full size kitchen with plenty of things to cook a big meal! Lots of seating in the living room and had a real cabin feel with the wooden walls and taxidermy deer and turkey! We had problem with back door alarming and within minutes of texting owner a kind Gentleman arrived to remove the battery and also helped my husband with the remote while he was there. I msg owner to thank them for their hospitality and with my recommendation for new mattresses and nonplastic mattress covers for upstairs beds. That was the only complaint I heard from my family! We didn't get to bring our pets since their family got covid news prior to trip and didn't come but I actually choose this property for its pet friendliness and it really did have great set up for pets. We enjoyed going to the lake and walking around which was just short drive away. This would be even more fun in summer or with big snow as there is a nice hill in the back!

Summary: The cabin is located right on the street so be careful if you have little ones! All of the beds have plastic covers on them which make it terrible to sleep on. There are 4 huge stuffed animals on the walls... yuck! And.. we saw a mouse in the house. You also cannot sit outside in the front or back because the lights are on all the time. We won't be staying at this property again.

Summary: The house was clean but unfortunately the air conditioning can not keep up. The upstairs was 80 degrees and the downstairs was always 75 or higher.
