Positive: The location was great. Close to Presque Isle State Park and beaches and had what they called a "private beach access" you can walk to. It wasn't what I would call beach access but you could see the water and it was a good place to sit and watch the lake and to hunt for sea glass. Front porch sitting was enjoyable. Had adequate a/c units. Plenty of towels. House contact manager Lindsay was very friendly and helpful when problems arose.
Negative: The house needs a few minor updates that would make it so much better. There were a few holes in the floor that rugs were conveniently placed over and scared me to death when I stepped on them and discovered them. The first night after buying groceries we came back to cook and realized the oven wasn't working and after trying to contact the manager we drug the stove out and had to reset it and push it back for it to work. The next day when we went to shower the tub wasn't draining properly and was holding water about 4 inches high in the tub. We again had to try and fix the issue and found a drain clog remover under the sink and pulled out gobs of OTHER people's hair so that it would drain for us to use. Description claimed it had board games and only had chess and checkers I guess I assumed they would have a little more variety. And as far as cleanliness goes they did the basic wipe down, sweep, change sheets, but the dishes that were left for use were filthy with food and dirt and had to be rewashed by us before we could use them. Looked as though most items to use were left piece by piece by other tenants and we found potatoes left to expire in the cabinet along with some other canned goods and opened boxes of candy which I feel is unsanitary. Also, did not have a dishwasher so pictures need updated.
Summary: Still had a good time but could have been better with a better check between guests.

Negative: The beds/mattresses could use an upgrade, and a second bathroom would have been nice but we made it work.

Positive: Perfect location, quiet neighborhood. A little over a mile from presque isle, 3 miles from Walmart. Beds were comfortable. Everything exactly as pictured. The hosts were super easy to contact. Will definitely be staying again in the future.
Negative: Only downfall, it would have been to have a second bathroom.

Positive: Location was good. close to Tom Ridge Environmental Center, and the park. Not a good beach or easy access to the beach. Only parking for 2 cars.
Negative: the front door has a manual lock as well as a digital key pad. We accidentally locked the knob by turing the lever on the inside before we left. Had to call the manager to find out how to get back inside. Took 2 phone calls. Lindsey was great once we reached her, but my elderly mother was quite upset.
