Family-friendly, modern, quiet home in the heart of West Vancouver- Ambleside. Our home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, just minutes from downtown Vancouver. Enjoy the walk to Ambleside Beach and sea walk, one of Vancouver's largest stretches of sandy beach. Ambleside is celebrated for its local arts scene, quaint shops, restaurants, and lively coffee shops. Harmony Arts Festival as well as numerous outdoor music concerts and a weekly farmer’s markets. Our beautiful city awaits you. Close to the Park Royal one of Canada's finest Shopping destinations featuring over 330 dinings, shopping and entertainment venues including Whole Foods and Starbucks. Approximately 25 minutes outside Vancouver and some 70 minutes to Whistler, 15 mint. to Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and across the mountains and Cypress Mountain, host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Day and night enjoy the never-ending harbor activity of freighters and cruise ships. Don’t forget your camera as sunsets are unforgettable.
Our recently renovated home consists of two levels and a large private fenced in backyard. The main floor has a living, family room and small office. Full kitchen and dining room. Two spacious bedrooms and one full bathroom. Both bedrooms contain queen-sized beds. The Living-room is equipped with everything you need: free internet, a comfy couch & cable TV. The living room and dining room both open to a sunny deck. Prepare breakfast in the comfort of the new kitchen fully equipped with a gas range. The dining table extends to seat up to 10 in the open concept with the living area.
The downstairs (street level) has a living room contains three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom offers a queen bed and a private entrance to the garden and patio. The other two bedrooms have double beds. The living room/recreation room contains a sleeping bed sofa, TV, fireplace and opens to garden & patio. Garden view bedroom is very spacious with a walk-in closet and a beautiful bathroom with floor heating and massage six jet big shower. The other two bedrooms have a joint bathroom, with a shower & bathtub and in-floor heating.

What makes for a good night's sleep?
Our Posturepedic mattresses will do their part. We Choose a queen bed for the master bedroom as well for the second bedroom on the main floor & nice linens.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire home. The entry door has a keypad with a unique code for each rental.
Parking 2 - 3 cars are at the front of the property with additional off-street parking.
Your Hosts:
Hosts Barb and Stan are available to answer questions in person and/or via phone/text/email. We try to welcome you personally to both familiarize you with the house and to answer any questions. We are also fluent in Polish.
Our House Rules:
1) From 10 pm until 8 am please keep the noise down.
2) Please leave your shoes at the entrance.
3) No smoking and sorry but no pets.
4) The agreed-upon number of tenants not to be exceeded.
5) No parties.
6) Follows the city bylaw.
7)To agree that after 5 guests there is an additional charge for additional guests to the maximum of 8 -9 quests.

I take pride in making sure my place is spotless for all guests - professionally cleaned before and after each visitor.
Beach enthusiasts, Walkers, Hikers, Cyclists, Golfers, Sailors, and Skiers, will all enjoy some of the finest outdoor activities in Vancouver from this location. Hiking trails are aplenty, as are public bike paths, mountain bike trails, skateboard venues, etc. The Capilano Suspension Bridge, Salmon Hatchery, Grouse Mountain, Cypress Bowl, all are within a short drive. Also enjoy the world-class facilities of the West Vancouver Rec Center, less than a mile away. Features, swimming pool, ice skating, racquet sports, yoga studio, music studio, seniors center, cafe and more. For Whistler and Blackcomb enthusiasts, 75 minutes by car has you at the lifts. Jump on the West Van Blue Bus and head over the famed Lions Gate Bridge to Stanley Park and three more words class beaches. Stanley Park is world-renowned and a must-see. Cycle around the Seawall, stop in to visit the Aquarium and botanical gardens. Continue to the Convention Centre and take the Hop On Hop Off buses to multiple destinations and all the city's highlights such as Granville Island. Another wonderful area to visit is the Deep Cove waterfront with access to kayaks, sailboats paddleboards and a series of stunning hiking trails. That's sure to make you hungry and options are aplenty from ice-cream to fish and chips, craft brew, gourmet coffee, organic foods or the neighborhood favorite, Honey's Donuts. in is between 4 pm-10 pm.
