Summary: The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. We were originally looking to stay more centrally in Freiburg proper but most places don't have parking included so we opted to be out of town and I'm so glad we did. Our dates were in late November. Often there were blue skies in the village but down in Freiburg and neighbouring Alsace region it was cloud and or fog all day. I don't mind grey days in moderation but it was so nice to have those blue skies. There are well marked hiking trails for all fitness levels in and around the village as well as two great restaurants a short walk from the apartment. We highly recommend this VRBO

Summary: Very nice place, location and very friendly hosts. Very nice spot to watch the sunsets over the Vogesen just a walk away. Great play area in the garden.

Summary: A great place to spend a few nights, proper escapism with the fantastic city of Freiburg within minutes. The best bed we’ve slept in for a long time. Very good, friendly hosts. Good English spoken. Fantastic view of the hills from the balcony, 2 great restaurants in the village, as well as the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking scenery. We recommend without hesitation.

Summary: The apartment was clean,comfortable, and located on beautiful property in a lovely town. It had everything we needed! We used it as a home base to explore various areas of the black forest and even into Switzerland (Rheinfall). The location was ideal as it was rural and quiet, yet close to restaurants and a beautiful lookout point for sunsets. My husband enjoyed running the local trails and my kids LOVED the backyard trampoline, playground, and animals. Our little dog was even welcomed with love. The hosts are wonderful and happily answered our questions about the local area, things to do, etc. We would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with lots of opportunity for exploring the area.

Summary: The hosts were so warm and friendly. They made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Their dining suggestions were amazing. Some of the best food we had on our trip. The space was clean and well appointed. The views were breathtaking and we didn’t want to leave. There was a play structure and sand box with toys for children. We would love to stay there again.

Summary: Stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the views and the farm atmosphere. Only a few minutes drive from Freiburg (there is also a bus station up the street) . The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The owners were very nice, helpful and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay!
