One of the BEST VIEWS in Proctor Cove!! Home is located in a great community...on a gentle lot with amazing view, deep water, cove location, 90+ feet lakefront w/charming boardwalk at waters edge! Home has an amazing floor plan with large bedrooms, open living/dining area, large lower level family room, multiple decks... perfect for entertaining, fireplace, lots of windows (to enjoy views) and has been recently updated w/oak flooring, tile, paint and more! Plenty of parking w/add'l.
Fire pit area, fish cleaning station and 10x40 slip. Community ramp next door.
Location Information
55 mm on the Lake is close to Captain Ron's, Bear Bottom waterpark, Surfside, and the wet spot.
Closest boat and jet ski rental is Sunny Beach Rv resort 573-789-9654.

Summary: Be prepared for lots of turns on gravel road to get there, but once you make it the space has everything you need. We loved the time on the water and using the deck, and the home space was great. It’s a bit of a trek to grocery stores or restaurants so plan those trips or bring what you need with you. Susan and John were welcoming and very helpful and we loved our time at their home.

Summary: This is our third stay at "Barrel of Fun". We have 8 adults and 2 kids. Susan and John are wonderful. The house is very well stocked and plenty of room for a large group. They added a wonderful sitting area on the dock to enjoy the lake at night. Its such a fun relaxing house.

Summary: This was a wonderful long weekend for our gathering. The house and all its amenities was the perfect place for us to be together and make memories. The house has more than expected in every regard. We have rented in the Ozarks for the last 5 years and this is the nicest house by far.

Summary: A disgrace to good landlords. . HOT In the bedrooms and landlord was watching us with night vision goggles. He also ruined the kids smpre making by turning hose on and putting out the fire as well as the food.

Summary: This property had everything we needed and wanted. Tons of space and amenities. Cozy and clean rooms and comfortable beds. Games and lots of toys. Swimming off the dock and boat ramp next door. There were some gravel roads but we had no problem pulling our boat. Susan and John are excellent hosts.

Summary: This property was as advertised. The hosts, John and Susan were so helpful and simply delightful. The grandkids had so much fun playing with all the games and swimming in the lake. We are already talking about a return trip. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give this property an 11. Thank you so much for being such gracious hosts and giving my grandkids an experience they’ll never forget!

Summary: The house was incredibly well stocked, and overall a wonderful place to stay. The only caution I'd offer, and wish I had known in advance, is the state of the roads in the neighborhood. I'm great driving on gravel roads, but these are different. If you have 4 wheel drive and/or good ground clearance on your vehicle, you're good to go. If you drive a minivan or smaller vehicle be warned that the roads are not made for your car.

Summary: Everything was wonderful. Very clean, plenty of things for preteens to do. Air conditioner was awesome on 95 degree day. Plants colorful, birds fun to watch. Owners were super helpful. Swimming and fishing, beautiful sunrise. What more could you want. My husband did not like the gravel road but we weren't on it for very long. I liked the fact that we were an hour closer to our suburban KC home than where we have stayed before. More time to play!
