Location:
Provencale style villa is set in a quiet rural valley close to Le Bar sur Loup, Valbonne , Grasse , Nice - the Airport - Antibes and Cannes plus numerous pretty perched villages (e.g. St. Paul de Vence).
The house and terraces face south with views across the valley and catches the sun all day.
Accomodation:
Main house and a self-contained pool house and can accomodate 10 people in total - 8 in the main house 2 more in the pool house.

Entrance hall and guest toilet.
4 bedrooms - 2 of which have en suite shower-rooms - the other 2 share a large family bathroom. 3 open onto a terrace overlooking the garden and the valley. The bedroom area in the main house is air-conditioned.
Fully equipped kitchen which opens onto the main terrace (plus utility room with second fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer ).
Lounge/dining room that opens out onto the main terrace (with sitting area, Italian marble dining table and gas BBQ). which overlooks a 10 x 5 m. saline, heated pool, a boule court and many sitting areas.

Large 'park-like' garden lies beneath the pool area. There is flat grassy area for football, badminton etc. The garden runs down to a small stream.
The boule court is surrounded by rose beds and numerous fruit trees.

Internet Tv (inc. movies and sports package and all normal free channels) plus Apple TV.
Outdoor table tennis.
WiFi
Airco in the lounge/dining room and kitchen plus the area where the bedrooms are situated. The bedroom of the pool house also has airco.

There are many pretty villages nearby, including St. Paul de Vence. Valbonne with its famous Friday market, intimate restaurants and shops. Le Bar sur Loup itself has 2 excellent restaurants. Pre du Lac has an excellent pizzeria (Cappriccios) which often has live music and an English style pub (The Castle). The Bistro(s) in Le Rouret need booking in advance.
Nice, Antibes and Cannes on the coast are all close by.
For children there is Marineland with its dolphins, whales and many other animals plus an amusement park for the whole family.
Locally there are 2 quality golf courses.
Brochures for many local attractions are available in the house 'library' plus other reading books.

Summary: It was amazing. Fantastic place and one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. Alan was amazing and was incredibly welcoming. He was always on hand if we had any questions and so helpful with local knowledge and recommendations. To be honest it’s hard to write a review that gives true justice to the place, especially when you’re just longing to go back. We will be returning!

Summary: We stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks, 10 people in total, ranging from my 74year Old mother to our children of 16 & 20. The property sleeps 10 people when the pool House is utilized. A fantastic addition to the main House when you have teenagers or others who want a bit of privacy. It sleeps 2 people and has its own small kitchen and bathroom. The saltwater pool is amazing. So much nicer than your typical clorine pool, and the size is great. The main House features a large outdoor lounge- and eating-area with a Big gas-barbe available. The ambiance of the place is Classic French style and very inviting. Right from the building style to the layout of the gardens and to the fresh herbs and citrus-trees. The surrounding area has an abundance of Nice restaurants across the small mountain towns, all within a 5-20min drive. The House is situated in the mountains, and as such the roads are Winding and sometimes steep, but the main roads are very well maintained, and if you like to ride your Road- or Mountain-bike in hilly surroundings, there is no better place to do it. The area has a load of other activities to offer, and the Cote d’Azure is only a 25min drive away with all that that has to offer. We left the House this morning and we are already contemplating comming back. We give the property and the Owner & Manager our warmest recommendations, and if you are thinking about renting this property there is only one thing to say - push the botten and get going😎👍

Summary: The property is absolutely stunning and located up in the maintains which is very beautiful and picturesque (car is required as lack of taxis). The check in and property management process via Alan was fantastic and theres lots of activities to do at the house; table tennis, badminton, bowles, swimming pool etc - we really could not have asked for a better stay and we definitely hope to return. Thank you!

Summary: Lovely week in the sunshine in this property near Bar sur Loup. Charming house which was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Kitchen led out onto beautiful terrace with views across the pool and garden. Plenty of space inside and out with lots of separate seating/entertaining areas if you want to host a lunch or even to hide away and read a book. Much to do in the local area, visit Medieval hill top towns of Gourdon, St Paul de Vince and Tourettes and go for a dip in the Loup river at Pont sur Loup. Huge thanks to Alan who warmly welcomed us to the property (glass of Rosé always helps) and was on hand for any questions we had. So glad we found this property and we really hope to be able to visit again in the near future.

Summary: We very much enjoyed out stay at this villa, it is a lovely place with a fantastic garden and pool. We spent more time in and around the pool than at previous villas. We had no issues with any fittings or equipment, everything worked and was in great condition. In fact this is probably the best equipped villa we have stayed at. The bedrooms were all good - the beds were very comfortable - and the kitchen was excellent, opening on to a patio overlooking the pool A car is definitely needed, but there are some beautiful villages nearby which are easy to get to (Valbonne, Gourdon etc). There are also many restaurants in the vicinity, and a supermarket is maybe just 10 minutes away. Alan, who met us on arrival, is really nice and made us feel welcome. He is a font of knowledge on the area and made some great recommendations. We didnt have any issues to fix, but he did respond very quickly to questions on taxis, villages etc. Very helpful :-) Overall, this was a terrific holiday and a very relaxing one. We would very much like to stay again soon!

Summary: We stayed at Le Bar-sur-Loup for a week with 2 families with 4 kids. The house is beautiful inside and out with a cosy living room, well equipped kitchen and a beautiful outside area. Many little cosy corners/lounge areas outside and a great pool with pool house, little bar and kitchen area which makes you stay at the pool for the whole day. Very friendly manager Alan gave us great tips for the area. Would come again!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the house, great communication before the arrival from the owner and a very dedicated support through the local manager Alan during our stay. The garden and pool are wonderful, loads of seating areas and things to do to for a family. The house is slightly remote and the walk to the village itself a bit steep but if you have a car this is a perfect place to stay.

Summary: We had the most wonderful stay in the house, and we really enjoyed everything with it. Although spending most of the time in the pool and sunbeds, the kitchen was such a nice spot for cocking, watching Tour de France or just a break from the sun. Our bedrooms were just nice with perfect temperature. The surroundings (terraces) with flowers and spices simply make the atmosphere so authentic and welcoming. Allan (the local manager) is such a nice person, really kind us and made a great job making us comfortable. So, the score will be 10/10 and we would love to come back

Summary: I went with my husband and three grown up children plus 'other halves' to stay in this beautiful villa. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. There was so much space and so much to do. The pool was amazing, we played table tennis, petanque (boules), swam, played board games. Everything was provided - it was so well equipped. We barbecued most nights on the fantastic Weber gas barbecue and ate out on the terrace. The kitchen had everything we needed - all utensils, food mixer, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine - there was nothing at all that I missed from home. Alan, the Manager, is absolutely amazing, a complete gem. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He even brought over some of his music from our era to play in the evenings - we were so touched. The owner Mike was always helpful and replied immediately to any queries I had before our trip. We would all absolutely love to return to the villa, we unanimously agreed that it is a very rare and special find. My only worry about posting this review is that it will get booked up next year so I'd better get on with it!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
