Great for large familys. Or individual families.
It has own private terrace straight off the gite, so guests can enjoy the unspoilt views.
The gite are totally individual so family's are not on top of each other and should feel relaxed to enjoy there holiday to the max.
There are animals on site, so guests are able to feed our donkeys, sheep and chickens.
The gite is situated in the grounds of the Chateau.
The owners live in the Chateau full time, so are always on tap to help with most things.
One Gite is a studio for a couple, the second sleeps six and the third gite sleeps four. There is a private pool which is used only by guests staying in the Gites.
There is FREE WiFi through out.

Summary: We had an absolutely fabulous time in this very nice apartment. We stayed in the Redπnk gite, which is perfect for couples with up to one (younger) child. Both the eye for stylish details as well as the well equipped kitchen are above and beyond what you might be expecting. We had our own (charcoal) BBQ, a small terrace complete w/ table, chairs and umbrella as well as a large part indoor/part outdoor seating/dining area. Our daughter loved feeding the four donkeys and the pool was perfect for cooling off from that southern sun. Will and Kate were gracious hosts and quickly available when needed. Definitely a candidate for a return visit!

Summary: We had a fantastic 6 night stay at the chateau in the red y pink gite. Will and family (including the animals!) were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive on our stay. The gite was very well equipped and the grounds had a lovely pool. There is a huge amount to do in the local area - highly recommended!

Summary: This is the second time staying at Chateau de Montoussel. The first time we stayed in the Mutley gite which was just lovely. This time we took all three gites. I cannot express how much fun we had with the whole family being there with us. My parents stayed in the Red Y Pink gite, my sister and her family took over the Hopkins gite and I of course took the Mutley gite with the African bed which over looks the country side. To wake up in the morning and look out at that view. Well you have to see it to believe it. We have already booked for next year. Just cannot wait. A big thank you to Will and Karen for creating a relaxing atmosphere and three beautiful gites. See you next year.

Summary: Chateau de Montoussel really is a hidden gem, set in rural landscape, our views from the Mutley gite were so impressive. The gite was spotlessly clean, with a brilliantly equipt kitchen, big fridge freezer and loads of cupboard space, which was good as we did most of our catering. A real home from home. The shared utility room was a godsend (I went home with little washing, which is always great!) The master bedroom is huge with ample hanging and drawer space. The pool is great, and very secure, we were allocated a key for the gate, this was brilliant if you wanted to relax on the terrace and let the children run around and play, knowing they can't get to the pool area if you're not with them. Will the owner really was amazing, always available to answer questions about the local area, and recommend restaurants, days out and give directions, but we still felt private. We loved the family labrador Baloo, the children spent lots of time stroking his belly! We really enjoyed our visits to the Toulouse space centre, carcassonne castle was very impressive, the lake at ferreol is very pretty; with various watersports available. Saint Felix is very quaint, a definite must visit. We enjoyed Revel market on a Saturday, so much fresh local produce on offer. We spent 12 nights at Montoussel and could have stayed longer, we really can't wait to get back!

Summary: Beautiful surroundings and very quiet, in fact my stay was very therapeutic and the ideal place to forget about the day to day stresses of life. The Sun was shining and Will and Karen were the perfect hosts. They were friendly and always made themselves available and were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend

Summary: Our stay in the Red Y Pink gite was relaxing and very peaceful. The gite is done out beautiful and is well equipped. The surrounding countryside is just so unspoilt. The Canal de Midi is only 5 minutes away, so many a walk was taken that direction. The lake at Revel is a great place to also walk and swim and the Saturday market in Revel is amazing. A big thank you to Karen and Will for making us feel so at home and for such a relaxing holiday. Will return

Summary: Our stay in the Red Y Pink gite was just perfect. Sitting on our terrace with a glass of wine looking over the beautiful countryside was a million miles away from our stressful life in the UK.
