3 Bedroom House in Wooster

Welcome to your home away from home - a custom-designed, mid-century house on a peaceful, centrally located street, within walking distance of the College of Wooster. The entire home is available to renters, and is complete one-story living, with a large fully equipped, eat-in kitchen, combined living/dining area with a dining table, smart tv with Roku, as well as board games and books. Down the hall are three spacious bedrooms and more storage. There are a total of three full baths, a laundry room available for guest use, and plenty of closet space and built-ins for your stay.
The first bedroom has a king sized bed, three closets and a private bath with a tub/shower as well as a separate vanity area.
All mattresses and box-springs are locally Amish-made, the same grade used in hotels.
In warm months enjoy the three seasons room that leads to the pergola in the backyard and in-ground pool! The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pool is available to renters staying in the house only.
There is ample off-street parking and a large yard to enjoy. The family friendly neighborhood is quiet with mature trees, perfect for walking, with a park in walking distance.
The house is equi-distance from the north end shopping/movie theater, and the downtown dining, shops and events.
Owners live next door.
No pets allowed.
No smoking.
No events/parties without prior approval.
Rate is for 4 renters/night; additional renters will add a fee/night.

Summary: We were 5 adults in town to see our friend's daughter in 3 Light Opera productions. First the positives, which are many. This is an extremely spacious, well-appointed house, with attractive landscaping. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood a mile or so from downtown. Each of the bedrooms is large, and the primary bedroom can almost be considered as a suite. The A/C works well. We didn't use it, but there is a huge TV screen. The beds (king, and multiple queens) are quite comfortable and there are a number of lovely seating and dining areas, including a covered outside space. The pool was a nice feature, if small and not really appropriate for lap swimming; the pool area and patio were extremely pleasant and there are lounges and some pool toys. The only negative was a kind of "nickel and diming" feel to the rental, where the hosts provided a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (their written material informed us that additional paper was up to the renter), a single roll of paper towels, and there was only liquid soap in the bathrooms (no shampoo/conditioner dispensers as there are in so many other rentals); there were few basic supplies in the kitchen other than salt and pepper - there was no soap for the washing machine and no dishwasher liquid, although this was provided later, rather late in the day after we reported it. Regardless of the small annoyances, this was an excellent choice and we would totally opt to stay there again should we be in Wooster.

Summary: First impression of the house was that it is spacious and very clean! Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice pool. Quiet family neighborhood. Outside landscaping needs attention though. Bring your own toilet paper!

Summary: The house is a beautiful and very well kept including all the outdoor spaces. It is super spacious lots of activities to keep kiddos busy. They have all the essentials available for the kitchen use and tons of area for sit down meals with the large family. We would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you for a great week!

Summary: We were doing ok until we noticed cameras in the house? Isn't that illegal to have? Outside cameras I can understand but inside I feel that was intrusive. We had nothing to hide but after noticing the cameras, we were not very happy 😏

Summary: Unique, extremely well-kept, spacious and quiet home just a couple minutes drive from the College of Wooster campus. We have stayed at several spots in town over the past couple years, and this property is by far our favorite.
