Summary: The house was really beautiful furnitured, in the classical italian style. We really enjoyed our stay here. Above all we liked the two balconies from where we had a great view over the lake. Everything was very clean and tidy. If we had any questions Michele was always kind and friendly and helped where he could. The only little problem was the long way by foot to the house with some stairs. An advantage is that there is a parking spot only for the guests and two bathrooms. So we can recommend it to everyone who wants to spend some lovely days in the italian sun at the lake of Como.

Summary: My husband and I were very impressed overall with our whole experience renting this house. We live in Italy and use rental homes frequently, and this one was by far one of the best experiences we've had. The owner Michele was very kind, responded immediately with any questions we had, prepared everything for our checkin, and even emailed us the next morning to make sure everything was ok. The house was very accommodating - we cooked our breakfasts and some lunches there and it was so nice to be in a house where we had everything we needed to prepare food! You can tell that this is Michele's home, and he just rents it out. The bedroom and bathroom had very nice furnishings and the view from the bedroom was amazing! The neighborhood was very quiet and made for a great weekend. The house is three stories with one room on each level, which was not an issue for us. There is not an assigned parking space, but we always found a spot close to the house.

Summary: Great property. Fantastic peaceful location! Well equipped clean house. Great to have two bathrooms. Lovely views and choices of two areas to sit out as a family. The house did get hot and would benefit from air conditioning. As with all the properties in Carate Urio you cannot park your car at the house so be prepared for a walk and steps and choose luggage with that in mind. This is a small town. Small shop 5 minutes walk away for essentials otherwise you will need to venture further with car. 10 minute walk to ferry stop where you can get a ride to Como, Bellagio etc. Great way to see the stunning scenery. We only had 3 nights here and wish we had booked longer.
